Union Pacific 844 - Amtrak Arrival / Houston, TX

UP Steam 844 reversing into Amtrak station in Houston, TX. Due to it's slow moving nature, I speed up areas of the clip, a good chunk of the clip is moving 150% faster until I move my camera, then it's back to regular speed.
It backed in due to the tight squeeze at UH Downtown, so it went towards the Heights area to reverse in. The train did back all the way down to San Jacinto St. to pick up Mayor Parker.

Great posting of 844!! I work as a engineer for the UP and missed this train due to working that weekend. But I did get pictures of it when it was in Hearne, Tx at the depot there as it was staged for a run to Marshall, Tx the following day. I would love to pilot the crew of 844 but that wasn't in the cards this time around. Maybe I could become steam qualified to run the old workhorse. Hey.....It could happen!!

Wow a 6000 hp UP? Never seen that.. That is if it was converted to 6000 and not 4400hp
