We just put in an offer on an OKW. It’s our first contract. We have young kids but we didn’t mind the shorter contract because it’ll last through their childhood and then we can make a decision as a family what to do once they’re adults. We went into it knowing that we wanted to eventually add on two more resorts. Right now we’re thinking 1 monorail resort plus Animal Kingdom. We’re going to stay two nights at Animal Kingdom in June and see how we like it.

I recently closed on my Old Key West contract which ended up being an equally good price with lower annual dues and the 11 mo th booking window that you can't take advabof with Vero unless you're going to Vero. Win-win.

We would BUY the Poly, SELL the Riviera and RENT Bay Lake Tower. We own at Bay Lake and are using those points as sleep around points until the upcoming renovations are done. Here's hoping the studios are getting a better renovation than the recent sterile renovations we have been seeing.

Dani is 100 percent correct. Every family does not have an all fits all scenario. I can see where purchasing a DVC in the southeast. For those that live in the southeast. Is a great way to go for those families. I already use my WorldMark timeshare to trade in to SSR or OKW. I will have my 1.2 million dollar house paid off in less than 4 years. Our Anaheim WorldMark Timeshare will soon be directly across the street from the main entrance to one of the Disneylandforward expansion locations. It is currently the Disney Castmember Parking lot. I will try to talk my wife in to purchasing more WorldMark timeshare credits in about 4 years. Talk about a Savings! The WorldMark timeshare in the secondary market is very inexpensive! Another great thing about it. There is no 40 or 50 year time limit. It goes on in to perpetuity. The maintenance fees are also much lower than DVC maintenance fees.
I actuality wanted a contract that expires in 2042. Even then it’s still overwhelming long in my opinion. What age will you be on 2042? By then it’s time to move on to your next adventure.
