I go left to Mexico 95% of the time to get those margaritas. However, the other 5% of the time is during food and wine festival when I go right to Canada for that delicious cheese soup!!
You are ABSOLUTELY correct - there is a correct answer, just like there is a BEST Star Wars movie (Empire)! Gotta start at Mexico to have a marg and nachos before riding Three Caballeros!
It’s no debate; We start in Mexico -because - Along time ago Back in the day of reading the books for Disney - 1 of the tips was to always start on the left to go against the crowd.
We always go towards Canada, in order to pick up the Maple Leaf cookies they sell there, and then stop in England to pick up some Twinings Tea and some fish for lunch at Yorkshire 😊😊. This was my Mom’s favorite way to go, so I cannot make myself go another way….plus it puts me closer to France and the Creperie ❤️
I started to go towards Canada. We had a stay last year when the buses got really backed up at MK following fireworks. Well I have my CDLs because I coach middle and high school sports. Disney bus driving can be a solid retirement plan for me lol. So anyways, we were standing at the front of the bus in transit and I found the text I sent one of my buddies: “I was pulled from the popcorn stand in Canada about… *looks at his watch*… 4 hours ago to drive this route. So I asked him if he had his CDLs. His response… “what is that?” I said “a commercial drivers license.” Him: I’ve had my license since I was 16…. I must say, this has been the funnest 4 hours I’ve had since I’ve been here.” And then he went on to start talking about him and his buddies beginning a gaming channel on TH-cam or twitch or something. So I begin at Canada to see if I see him or if he was pulling my leg. Also, one of the guys I get to sub for me when I’m out was a costume director for Fantasmic, and worked for Disney for years. I told him the story and he confirmed that it could have very well been true lol So…
Most of the time it is Mexico for us. We love the river boat ride inside the Pyramid. We have the Mexican food outside of the Pyramid. We also love the atmosphere inside the Pyramid.
When I go to Epcot, if I enter from the front of the park, I start in Mexico. However, if I enter through the international gateway, I start in Paris and go counter clockwise. I do prefer starting in Mexico though…it just feels like it’s the correct way lol :)
Great video!! For the question, we look at the flow of people and go the other way! Being able to walk through Canada that direction and seeing all the beautiful scenery through the countries with minimal people in the way for photos is great
We don't drink, so going right or left is just dependent on if we are heading to Remy or Frozen. Loved the info on the cruise swap, but maybe you can expand on the info about the swap-- are points for all resorts equal, if I only have 150 points can I pay the rest in cash, how long before I want to cruise does a person need to do this, etc.
Always Mexico - Start and Finish (hit it twice) with a Margarita and a ride on 3 Caballeros - A classic and one of our family's favorite rides. The air conditioning is lovely as well ;-)
I always start in Canada. I always arrive on an empty stomach and grab something to eat in Canada and the United Kingdom. Then I can start drinking some beers in the America Pavilion and Germany. Then, grab some school bread in Norway and finish with tacos and a margarita at the Mexico Pavillion. Have to get some food in before drinking liquor.
This is not a debate, the only correct answer is Canada because it is closer to the Grey Goose Citron Lemon Slush in France! We save Mexico as our last stop since we frequently wait to sit inside La Cava del Tequila for cucumber margaritas and guacamole. A few drinks beforehand makes that wait time more tolerable 😉
Our house in Santa Clara, California will be paid off in about 3.5 years. I have been trying to get my wife to purchase DVC on the resale market. She might be open to it. I will share this video with her. After we pay off our house. That is a fantastic deal! When you trade your points for a cruise. My wife would be crazy! For saying no deal.
When I enter the World Showcase I tend to start in Canada. I think I just naturally go that way, maybe since I am Canadian? Ha! Sometimes I start in Mexico, both ways are great.
Start at Mexico of course ! Any other way is wrong - unless of course if coming in the the international gate way then we’re toward Great Britain and Canada!
The World Showcase question comes down to your choice of drink. I’m a beer guy- the beer in Canada is better and can be purchased at the gift shop, so you can get an AP/DVC discount there. Starting that direction has better beer while your sense of taste is still going. But it’s more fun to finish with an “end of the world” (La Fin du Monde) from Canada. So my beer path is to start at international gateway, get beer from Rose and Crown, then to France and on until you end in Canada.
Unconventional opinion - Option C - After hitting the front of park attractions, steer the family aboard the Friendship Boat and sail across the World Showcase Lagoon to beeline to America 🇺🇸 ! Navigating family vacations can be tricky. There is so much to experience at EPCOT - and, on top of that, DisneyWorld vacations for out of staters can be (pleasantly!) exhausting, as you try to fit as much as possible into your trip. Due to my selfless sacrifices to those that I love (😇), I have yet to get to see the Voices of Liberty perform - and so I will be (politely!) asserting to my family that we will be starting our World Showcase exploration at America until I do !! 😬 (And following America, working clockwise to Japan, Morocco, France, etc, until that delicious avocado martini in Mexico feels truly *earned*!)
Always Mexico! We always start with the Gran Fiesta Tour!
Right all the way! Canada!
We start in France for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. (Then the champagne. Good morning!!!)
Mexico!🪇 Just do!😅
Always Right! Love Canada 🇨🇦!!
I go left to Mexico 95% of the time to get those margaritas. However, the other 5% of the time is during food and wine festival when I go right to Canada for that delicious cheese soup!!

I start at Mexico!😊
Mexico, always!
Mexico!
ALWAYS to the left, have to start with a blood orange margarita in Mexico!
When I enter World Showcase, I start in Canada, then stop at Yorkshire Fish Shoppe for one of my favorite lunches.
Mexico of course! Unless going to LeCellier to eat at our favorite restaurant!!
It’s no debate;
We start in Mexico
-because -
Along time ago
Back in the day of reading the books for Disney - 1 of the tips was to always start on the left to go against the crowd.
Mexico! We love the Three Caballeros too!
I go right to Canada. I like to ease into world showcase saving Mexico for the end
Always go to Mexico to start with the Grand Fiesta ride.

It’s weird I’ve never even thought about what side to start on. But we’ve always started in Mexico!
We go to Mexico to ride the Gran Fiesta Tour!
The real world showcase answer is UK because we’re entering from Beach Club or the Boardwalk 😉

I've never started World Showcase where Canada vs Mexico is a choice. I start at the International Gateway and head toward France!
Mexico!! Always! 😂 Even when we come in the International Gateway we walk to Mexico! 😂
I’m shocked at the amount of points for the RC cruise! Wow.
We don't drink, so going right or left is just dependent on if we are heading to Remy or Frozen. Canada!!!!!We love the Canada pavilion and the landscaping.
🇲🇽¡Mexico!🇲🇽

Mexico!! 🎉🎉🎉

Mexico! Have to grab that margarita!
Mexico First always!
We start in Canada for the maple popcorn and save the best for last.
Start in Canada to get to France because we usually get Remy ride reservations early in the day. Then we head towards Mexico and end up back in Canada
I start in Mexico and hit the Margarita stand outside the Pavilion.
Canada
Canada first, American pavilion for lunch, finish in mexico.
We'll start in Canada, I think. Normally we would probably start in France because we have points at Riviera. ♥
Mexico, show me the money 💰 🤑 💸
Canada! For some reason we always go right 😂
Start at Mexico of course ! Any other way is wrong - unless of course if coming in the the international gate way then we’re toward Great Britain and Canada!

Mexico, I live in Canada
Mexico
Canada!
Canada! Especially during food and wine. Derek, was that room 2317?
That's easy I always at the dvc longe.
You have to start in Mexico, so you can end with dinner at La Cellier.
My resolution is I’m never buying direct 😅
Always Mexico! We always start with the Gran Fiesta Tour!
