The gift shop at the Poly is our family fave. There is so much resort specific and unique finds there that it has to be the winner. Plus if you are a Stitch fan then you can't throw a stick without finding a piece of Stitch merch!
Sometimes the universe aligns and the perfect resale contract literally just drops in your lap, I decided to upgrade home resorts after my VBR dues surpassed $13. It didn't take long for me to find the perfect OKW contract with the help of Derek and DVC Resale Market.
If the Haunted Mansion was DVC I’d be all about it😂 we chose OKW because it was great price on your resale market and I couldn’t wait one more day to get in❤
Love hearing all of your stories. We bought a small contract sight unseen at OKW 2018 and fell in love with the resort. We brought our grandson for his first visit to WDW on our welcome home visit. Everyone one there was so friendly and treated us as family that's what sealed the deal for us ❤

Choosing a home resort was super easy for me. Old Key West is literally what I imagined when I first heard of DVC. It checks all of our boxes. I am considering adding on enough points to do a 2 night stay at Animal Kingdom & a 2 night stay at the Grand Floridian.
Kalepa’s at Aulani is my favorite. It was my 40th birthday and I sent my 10 year old son in with a cast member and my credit card because he wanted to “buy” me a birthday present. They were so kind, and helped him shop, and he was so proud to give me a beautiful gift bag with a sequin Loungefly mini backpack 💗
BouTiki is my favorite. My daughter got the cutest Stitch bucket hat (maybe not as cute at Derek’s bucket hats). They have such cute Stitch stuff there.
Love this video/channel! I really like the Boutiki at the Poly. I love the vibes/atmosphere of the Grand Ceremonial House, and the Boutiki always has a nice selection. During my trip this past April, I purchased a beautiful Kukui Net necklace which I proudly wore during our dinner at Ohana:)
Our contract is at AK and we’ve been making amazing memories since 2007. Our kids were young back then but now will get to make new memories with our grandchildren. We also have a small contract at Bay Lake. My favorite gift shop is at Jambo House. ~ Lori

I researched for 18 months before buying with DVC Resale Market. I looked at direct also, but it was a much better financial decision buying resale. Thanks guys!
I have to give it to Jambo House Zawadi Marketplace too. I love that there is usually someone carving wood animals outside and a large selection of the hand carved animals inside along with a few items from countries in Africa. It’s one of the things I love most about Epcot, all of the items from the different countries, and it feels like the only resort gift shop that has that element. A close second and definitely the first in name cleverness is Boutiki. The Polynesian Great Ceremonial House is such a vibe, gotta love that too. I wish that we had been to Aulani, like many others, to give that one a vote… Darn, guess I’m going to have to add that one to the future trips list 😂😂😂 I love DVc so much!!!
Our favorite gift shop with the kids is Jambo house gift shop, our kids also love the soap shop at Grand, we also always seem to make a stop in the contemporary every trip and check out their shop!
Our favorite resort shop has always been BouTiki, not just because it's at our home resort, but because it has a wider array of merchandise than some other shops and the included ease of dragging all that Disney swag down from your room to ship it all home each trip. Sure, you can do this at nearly all gift shops, but they seem to have more active checkout stations to not feel guilty monopolizing a cast member for a while getting all your items accounted for and that packing slip filled out.

La Boutique at the Riviera has to be the best gift shop. You can’t beat the art kiosk.

I have limited resort gift shop experience, but the atmosphere at Screen Door General Store was so calm and non-hectic that its my current favorite.

We chose Old Key West to three reasons, room size, point value and price. The other resorts simply can not compare in these areas.

Old Key West 1997. All that space, back porch. Most other resorts weren't there then. Love staying at all resorts. ❤ 🏰 🎉

Old Key West is literally what I imagined when I first heard of DVC. It checks all of our boxes. I am considering adding on enough points to do a 2 night stay at Animal Kingdom & a 2 night stay at the Grand Floridian.
Old Key is a fantastic choice - esp that the rooms are bigger AND use less points!
My favorite gift shop is GF. I adore AKL but the GF just has a certain feel. We will be staying at BWV next month for the first time. We are excited.
The Grand def has a different feel - so classy! You will love the Boardwalk - make sure to tell us all about it (and that gift shop people love!)

I like the gift shop at OKW because it typically has the most DVC merch! Cost me a lot to get out of there last January!
