This is really a great tutorial! I've been trying to get (near) perfect runs on hard mode boss challenge. I got most of the major ones down well, but this one is frustrating in that she's basically toying with you and preventing you from closing on her consistently, and her trying to dictate the battle. You also do a great job on your counters! Seeing and understanding all the attacks is truly the path to a flawless victory. Nicely done; another underappreciated post that deserves more views.
After trying yesterday few times while getting late , I wanted to check how to handle the black smog, and seeing her attack patterns fully chilled only watching I managed to get her 3rd try, first ones I just couldn’t aim fast at the 3 lights , had to change settings sensitivity… thx mate 👍
Awesome bro! I almost had her everytime , but she does a move that covers the entire floor with black goo and its insta death. I didnt see it on your fight. Maybe its not the entire floor and you got away, im not sure, but from my vantage point it looks like its the entire floor. This has killed me 5 times. If that didnt happen id beat her everytime. Thanks bro excellent video!
I'm pretty sure you're referring to the one shot kill move that requires you to shoot the objects in the air. If you manage to shoot and destroy them in time it'll cancel her one shot attack.
The way I found to make it easier is to max your skill gauges and Tachy mode, then let yourself die so your next try you’ll be maxed out at the start. Start the next fight by using Tachy mode, spam L1 triangle to stunlock it in a corner, then you have the rest of the fight to earn it again. And knock her down with grenades, it’s why you have them! I use the regen item to keep recovering health while blocking/parrying (and save other health items). It was a brutal fight that took me a lot of tries but it’s easier if you purposely time skills to interrupt her attacks.
I set it to story mode and beat her ass idc. The combat in this game is sluggish and unresponsive literally by design for the sake of aesthetic (I wish I knew this before I bought it) but the bosses still have bullshit like it’s a fault responsive so I’ll be bullshit too!
Bloodborne, sekiro, demons souls, returnal etc. all harder but feel fair and make me want to sit down for hours to try and beat a boss. This just feels like bullshit that is not designed well. Combat is like sekiro and bayonetta had an ugly baby
So it seems that you have to be patient with this boss. You can beat most bosses easily just by spamming beta and combos :D I am really struggling with this one.

Superb guide for an otherwise tough fight
Can't even imagine how long it took you to get all these fights almost flawless
Takes about an hour for me to understand all it's attacks and come up with a counterattack for them

I notice that too, most early bosses can be dealt with by beta skills. But these few end bosses are alittle bit more tougher
