Tachi Mode got a few of Dante's Sin Devil Trigger moves. "Shield Breaker" is Bayonetta's "Cartwheel Kick", or Vergil's "Lunar Phase", mixed with his "Dragon Breaker".
@@Nakatomi_KagehisaI keep forgetting about the existence of Overdrive, even though I'm totally aware about the attack speed build. I usually prefer to do R1+∆ or R1+0 depending by my remaining Burst energy
@@chrisdrake512 Same here, i got the plat and i never used Overdrive, but then I did another playthrough just for fun and went for a speed build (Speed gear + Overdrive) Eve attacks so fast it's Really REALLY hard to do a Lv 4 combo because you need to be extremely prescise and fast with your button inputs, but with a little practice you get used to it, combat becomes more fun and the bonus dmg you get is quite Nice, it makes the beta skills more OP

I have to say, the only thing about this game's combat that I don't like is how weak and unimportant the gun is. It feels like the developers tacked it on at the end to give the player another option, but only two locations and five enemies force you to use it. And it's not even that powerful.
@HighKnighter I'm not so sure. The only enemies I've found die quickly are the mini ones, and even the tentacles take multiple hits from the Explosive Shells to kill. As for the Repulse Ranged Boost, I use Cross Wave to deal as much damage as possible. It is faster, deals more damage, and is easier to replenish.
@@FallenOne669 Beta energy got it own ammo cost and it requires getting close to replinish. Meanwhile guns are virtually risk free. Need to be weaker or else it overpowered. No real way to balance guns as anything other than utility, or your post about it being weak would be the game is just a bad shooter.
The gun gets more upgrades on new game + and becomes really useful especially the Shotgun at close range not only deals good damage but destroy the enemy shield with a single bullet, same goes for the explosive rounds, they're good for crowd control, If you play on hard mode there will be times where you'll get cornered by 4/5 enemies that can end you in a matter of seconds, this is where the explosive rounds shine

It’s an anime thing, you can believe everything is a copy of anything and you’ll find a similarity in some anime just to bash on a “copy”. It’s equivalent to saying Vergil uses a sword he’s a copy of Sephiroth.

You can also end onslaught 3 early after holding square. Usually use a shotgun shell to finish most off here instead of ending the combo with triangle

If you use a beta chain, you might be fast enough to stagger the enemy right before they hit you

well buttons the you need to press twice is always easier in combos

It very useful for cleaning up smaller, weaker mobs and getting in free damage.

Yep, the 4 Beta attacks have some additional upgrades (with different animations) in MG+
Also burst attacks have additional upgrades too

DMC didn't invented the Judgment cut, there's several anime/games with characters that slashes the whole screen and they came way before DMC
