That magnifying glass is so neat! So far mostly, the boys kind of take the lead with what we play outdoors. Cyrus has this one place that he loves to play "restaurant" and he cooks by banging rocks together and makes all the "orders" that we come up with. Not sure how that got started....we spend a LOT of time watching bugs outdoors, ha!

Outdoor cookery is a huge favourite in the garden here too. 😂 And rocks and leaves end to appear indoors for us in his kitchen. It's amazing to watch what they come up outdoors with no structured activity. Thanks so much for watching as always! ❤️

I was looking for things to do with our beaver Scouts this weekend, some of these are great activities! Might adjust some things to our 5-7 year olds tho. Thanks for sharing

I'd love to hear any other outdoor nature play activities that your little ones love. Let's make the most of the beautiful weather we have on its way (at least in the northern hemisphere)! 😀

Aww, thank you Claire. I love the journey stick too. So colourful and beautiful. ❤️ I am planning on making wildflower identification art for my living room (without Ben's help 😂), which I think will be beautiful. Thanks for watching as always.

*this is amazing, we love going for walks and wanting new ways to keep the kids occupied. They love carrying sticks so the journey stick is great idea for them, and playing in the water is a must.*

Hehe. I think all kids are weirdly drawn to sticks. They are just magical. 😂 Thanks for watching!

Loved this Kara! I’ve never heard of a journey stick before! Definitely going to try that one out, Didier would love that! Also going to try the cardboard cut out and vase next time!
My little boy loves taking his bug kit and magnifying glass on our walks! And also we have a “treasure wall” (an old printers tray with little compartments) so we always take a basket and Dids loves filling it up with stones, feathers, snail shells etc. to put on his shelf when we get home 🥰

Aww. Thanks Nicole. They are definitely all big hits with Ben. The treasure wall sounds amazing and definitely something for us to try! Merci!
