I saw roni size dj and krust dj at Glastonbury 1999 and then represent played live later that night with the full band !!! It was one of the best live performances I have ever had the pleasure to witness!! I am from the north east of England and got into rap when I was 10 that would be 1989 and then in 1994 I got in to jungle and drum n bass ! I have been a dj for 30 years ! I play everything from jazz and soul to rap to jungle !!! And I also come from a poor family and it took me about a year to get about 20 records and now all these years later I have 7000+ vinyls ! I understand what he means about learning on cheep belt drive turntables for it took me 10 years to save for technics and when I got them it felt easy scratching and mixer on them after learning on rickety old belt drives !!!
