Howdy y'all! We had fun going to some estate sales today, these two literally couldn't be more different. The first one was almost entirely picked clean, but we did find a box of ephemera in the garage and a cute little glugger pitcher that reminded me of being a kid. The second sale was absolutely insane with hundreds (could it be thousands??) of statues and figurines! We've never seen anything like it and i'm so curious how their house was set up when it wasn't prepped for an estate sale. Definitely a cool one to browse and we hope you enjoy coming with us :) Happy Friday! We'll see you tomorrow!
Thank you for taking me along with you!🎉❤So much FuN! Your cheerfulness, positiveness, smiles, interests of papers, art is so helpful! Absolutely enjoy being with you daily! Appreciate all your effort making a very cool 😎 video daily! You both are so talented in creating such fun-interesting videos! 🎉❤🎉
The little fish you put on your sink and put your dish washing sponge in it. Frogs and fish are both over emphasized with the eyes and huge mouths. They basically make you smile while doing a task most people hate.
@melissaburke3204 I have never heard of or seen a cow one. Does it have the huge eyes or just the mouth? I bet it makes you smile every time you use it.
@nancyweliczko9334 I have never seen a pig one. Someone else got a cow one. The fish and frog was all there was to choose from in the past. I am glad someone decided to change that and give people endless choices. The important thing is that it makes you smile or what's the point?
Today was so funny! Your estate sale with the box of ephemera was someone I’ve known for probably 15-20 years. She ran a successful rescue for dogs and cats and I was one of the fosters…every weekend I would drop my foster babies off for adoption day, when I would go back to pick up the ones that weren’t adopted, I would cry all the way home for the ones that found a loving home! Happy and missing them tears. I did that for at least 15 years. The homeowners have retired and moved to Arizona. I almost didn’t recognize the house without the cats everywhere lol. They are great people and i wish them the best. Also the second house I’m pretty sure was in handly. You two are so fun to tag along with!
That’s so awesome to hear! We have always gone to them, but this month we’ve loved bringing y’all along, it’s been a fun new video to make and we’ll continue it after our challenge is over 😊
What an amazing assortment of figurines. You got some great stuff. That beautiful closet is made of cedarwood to keep moths away. Much like the old cedar chests, often called hope. chests. I love that you appreciate things of the past. Refreshing. ❤ Keep up the hunt.
Sad, at least to me, that a persons life memories end up in a cardboard box in a garage for sale. I’m very glad you two found it and saved it. Have a merry and prosperous new year. You did a ever good job of posting every day.
I just love that you and Alex love the history of old. Paper and moose loved history as well. It brakes my heart that there are so many young people just throwing it in the trash. Someone’s lifetime of memories. Pictures of their loved ones and mean nothing to them. Thank God there’s people like you saving it and keeping history alive. Blessings to you and yours. Sweet baby so adorable. 🥰
The estates sales are so fun to go to!!! Isn’t it amazing what people collect? I love the clown pillow you got, that’s how I remembered clowns as a kid! When you were showing the ephemera from the box you purchased, I was thinking I have some old ephemera, too. I still have my high school notes, from chemistry, algebra, English, etc. I graduated in 1980. I have a old notebook back when I was in first grade, that shows a picture I drew with crayons of a cat. As a kid over the years, my mom would send my little stories I wrote in grade school to my sister, who lived in Nashville at the time. She made a album out of it and gave it to me later when I was adult. It’s neat to look back at that stuff now. I wrote most of the stories in cursive. My stories were mainly about our farm cats and dogs. This is my ephemera that I collected before I even knew what ephemera was! 🙂 Hi Bones!
I am putting you in my will. I have done my family history way back and have tons of paperwork. When I got bored I would switch over and research family history of famous outlaws and cowboys. I got that ideal working on my family files and watching Tombstone at the same time. 😂
Happy Friday and Have a wonderful Weekend ❤ and We love December Daily video. We love Estate sale ❤ and Awesome Treasures and we love Bones and Move on and See you Tomorrow ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The fish with the big mouth is either used to hold soap or sponge at a sink. The closest with the wood panels, is cedar wood. Keeps moths and bugs out of the closet so they won’t eat holes in the clothing.
I watched this yesterday, but didn’t comment. I had to take my brother to the emergency room. He is okay 👍🏻. The estate sales had many interesting things. I’m sure your ephemeral will give you some joy and inspiration to write a story. The second one got me dizzy 😵 looking at all of those figurines. I have never seen this in my entire life. That was not for me all I saw was dust collectors. You did find a few nice things, I love the cross. Thanks for the December to remember ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
When Kelly said.. "I'll give you $3 for it" about the scooter LMFAO my husband and i do the same thing driving around 😂😂 Also Alex is the king of style 😎
Wow is all i can say about the 2nd sale !! So much glass in one home, it's definitely over stimulating. Thanks for showing us around and i would have loved to have the cedar closet in my home. Can't wait to see what's in store for us tomorrow. Thanks for all your videos and great finds❤.😊😊😊
You two soo sweet together estate shopping - I used to do that at ppls houses they were awesome and they used to have food trucks that was fun - but a lot of them would have things on the lawn or carport instead walk through their houses but now we got cameras oh wished you would've picked up cat tea pot those seem rare !!!
I really enjoyed the estate sale where all the glass was at. the little frog you saw , the one with the big mouth like the piece you bought , was for the keeping of the dish pan scrubber, goes by the sink in the kitchen. The big closet in the master bath , the one you called a wood closet is actually a Cedar lined closet made for the protection of expensive clothes, to protect them from moth and insects.
Hi Alex and Kelly. Y'all got some cool things. Oh I wish I could of gone to them. The last one I would of bought all the big dolls loved them .. I'm a doll collector. Hehehe. I have a lot of them . I mostly love reborn dolls . oxo and have a great night ❤😊❤
The fish eith the big mouth is great for holding the scrubbie at the kitchen sink. I've worked a lot of estate sales. I think this one is a sale of many "left overs" from other sales. Sometimes companies keep the stuff left over and add to other sales.
23:54 the nicely painted bowl with lid I would use as a serving dish for sides u want to keep warm like rice or veggies. I think the fish right after that might be for holding a sponge or scrubber it has that open mouthed look to it. Usually see frogs like that... idk tho.
Yep, confirmed that the open mouthed fish holds a scrubber or a sponge. There is a new in box one listed on etsy with this description: Vintage New in Box Kitschy Ceramic Fish Scouring Pad Holder with Hot Pink Scouring Pad
The fish is for your brillo pad/scrubby. You can take your switchplates off, clean and lightly sand them, then decoupage a cat print on them. Cut out the hole for the switch, then screw back on.
OMG the second estate sale!!!! It couldn't get any better !!!! Anything, and everything, oh my, from rams heads to glass and bibles, I'm surprised yall didn't buy the Bible that was in the box, it was gorgeous! So much to look at so little time, and to think that most of that was left over will be donated to a Goodwill or a thrift store of some sort, the family doesn't want the stuff hence the reason for an estate sale. Maybe they have it the next weekend, sure do hope so, I hate to think of all that beautiful stuff being donated. I really wish I lived nearer to you I would LOVE to go to this sale. But great finds, if they have it ext weekend please go back and take us with you. Love ya'll! 😊❤
Hi Kelly Alex and Bones Wow what a huge sale with everything someone would want to buy. really enjoyed going along with y'all on this sale! Take care and blessings to you both and Bones. Your friend Joyce from California HUGS ❤️ 🫂 🤗
I hate to say this but I have a lot of collectibles. So that second sale you went to would have been right up my alley. I would have loved to have those bears (stuffed and statues). I also would have loved the German Shepherd statues. I'm sure I would have bought other things too. I love going with y'all on your estate trips. You need someone my age or older to tell you about the items you aren't sure as to what they are. I'm curious about why that bookcase/curio was free. Was it in bad shape or something because it didn't look like it was. I thought you two might get that for your collectibles. 😊
My great great grandma had such news papers and they are so cool to read. Amazing a house 5bedrooms double story house huge acreage double garage thirty five hundred.
18:15 Oh that silver rabbit platter would have come home with me for sure! A life time of collecting memories in that 2nd home. *wonder if the big eyed fish jug to hold a kitchen sink sponge maybe? 🐡
Omg . The angels a, Christmas items and dolls I love them I had a clown , angel and doll collection . But when my house burnt I lost them all. Thank you for showing them.
You know what’s funny I have that same cross…if I was on social media I would show you a picture.. I got it from my grandmother who passed away 7 years ago.. so freaking cool!!! 💜💜✌️
Hello my favourite couple, enjoy your adventures, nice to see your not getting soaked today .loved the German shepherd ornaments that where there ,kind regards from Kent uk
I collect blue and white porcelain plates.cups etc. Spotted quite a few things I would have bought. The fish thing is for your kitchen sink to hold your scrubber/sponge.
Hey guys that second house was unreal those head statues of the man an lady i remembet my aunt had those for years there vintage i would hav loved to hav some of the glass dogs lord how would u dust all that ugg enjoyes❤😊😊😊

Hey guys! Glad to see that you guys didn't get sick from diving in the rain!
I just love that you and Alex love the history of old. Paper and moose loved history as well. It brakes my heart that there are so many young people just throwing it in the trash. Wow that’s lots of stuff at those estate sales. I don’t go to them often and only get what I absolutely need. The glass sewing machine is cute.
I watched this yesterday, but didn’t comment. I had to take my brother to the emergency room. He is okay 👍🏻.
The estate sales had many interesting things. I’m sure your ephemeral will give you some joy and inspiration to write a story.
