Three ways to get rid of stumps. With the excavator dig a trench all the way around the stump about a meter away from the side of rthe stump. Cut sections
out of the roots with an axe about 1/2 meter wide and dig till you stop seeing roots. If there is a straight down root called a tap root dig the easiest spot big
enough to use a chain saw on the tap root as low as you can cut it. Drag it out with a tractor. Note I have a couple 180 horsepower Allis Chalmers 7080 tractors
that couldn't pull that stump without digging around it first. I also use my Bucyrus excavator that is about 170 horsepower to dig down both sides and the side
facing the excavator then roll them forward towards the excavator. Takes about 5 minutes for that size stump. Easiest way is to put an oil drum with the ends cut
out over the stump and set the bottom edge on a 3cm thick stone. Toss in all your scrap coco bits, tree branches around the stump to barrel space and light it
on fire. At first the surface of the stump just makes steam while it dries out then it starts making charcoal and burns down into the ground roots and all. The barrel
makes a natural draft to fan the fire and it burns about 3 weeks for a hardwood stump that size. You can knock a little charcoal off occasionally until it is burning
down in the ground. Third method is homemade explosive. If you do that use about 5 times as much as people tell you and get it under the stump. If you use
too little it just blows the dirt away and more of the same does nothing. Warn the Baranguay and neighbors. I put a 1/2 mile road back to my NC USA build site
all with hand dug stumps except for blowing out a few before the neighbors got upset.

How I would love to be able to blow up the tree stumps lol, thanks for posting, made me chuckle seeing the comment.
