The films she made with Fatty Arbuckle are extremely funny and she shows herself to be one of the greatest comic actors in films of any era. Tilly's Punctured Romance also features Marie Dressler.

Always enjoy your videos, I've seen some of Mabel's remaining films, she was quite wonderful, and an early legend for acting and directing. Just couldn't stay out of trouble tho lol. Poor dear.

For those interested in Mabel, early Hollywood and the unsolved murder case of William Desmond Taylor, you have to read Tinseltown by William J Mann. A must read or a must listen. The narration of the audiobook is fantastic.

Ironically, Normand's place of death in Monrovia (11:35) is now a parking lot, whereas that of her close friend William Desmond Taylor is also a parking lot in Los Angeles.
