You're welcome! Glad to have you aboard! And thanks so much for watching my videos! Are there any specific questions I can answer for you as you're getting started?
Thanks for watching my videos! The line color is put in by my theme, which is called "Things" by Colin Eckert. You install the theme, then install the Style Settings plugin. Under the Style Settings, you click on Things Theme, then Features, then turn on "Highlight active line". Hopefully that helps!
When I discovered, on my side, the backlink renaming function, before I see your vid, with the subtle " | " hack, I was shocked. Obsidian is a miracle!
Glad you're enjoying the Obsidian videos, and I appreciate your interest in my gamified task manager! I've got more videos about both of those subjects planned, so stay tuned for more!
You're right about aliases! They're especially helpful if you want to refer to a note the same way in multiple places. Then you don't have to rename the note in all those different places. I'd love to do another one of these videos down the line, and will probably include aliases in it 😁 You're welcome on the TH-cam embed! I've found it very helpful when needing to refer to videos later.
Those come from the Tasks community plugin: publish.obsidian.md/tasks/Introduction I'll be covering the Tasks plugin in more detail in an upcoming video!
What hidden Obsidian feature are you most excited to try?
Really liking your #Obsidian vids. New subscriber. Keep them coming.

Hi, I like your videos, Could you notice me how did you color the line where the cursor is located?

What theme are you using here? It’s a great looking setup.
It’s a theme based on my favorite task manager, Things 3. The theme is aptly named “Things”, and it’s made by Colin Eckert.
@@creadevlabs thanks for replying.

It really is such an amazing app! I'm on the hunt for more hidden functionality so I can share even more great features in a future video!
Keep the obsidian videos up but please make another dev log about the gamified task manager app

Creating Aliases is also another great alternative for using the pipe for linked note titles. Thanks for the youtube embed tip, very helpful.
