    Do you know how to resize embedded videos?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The embedded video in a note will take up the width of the note, so there’s not really any control there without getting into CSS. When embedding a video in a Canvas, you can resize the video just like you would any other card.

      @creadevlabs you can! you can place the number of pixels you want the embed to have after an "|" in the square brackets, just like you would when renaming a linked note like shown in 00:40:00. So e.g. [|500].(TH-cam Link) or even [|500x300].(TH-cam Link)
      works with pictures as well 😊 (not sure if it works with other embeds though, haven't tried that!)

      Oh wow, that's amazing! I had no idea! Thanks so much for sharing 😃

    Hi, I'm confused with the second feature, how did you make pages and docx at the first place? I only understand canvas cause I can press "create new canvas", but how with pages and docx?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I created the docx and pages files in Word and Pages, not in Obsidian. I simply saved the files in my Obsidian vault so they'd be available to link to from notes.

      @creadevlabs thank you, your obsidian videos always helpful, I would like to know how to saved it?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Your Obsidian vault is just a folder on your device, so when saving a document in an app like Word or Pages, navigate to your vault folder in your device's filesystem and save it there. You could also take an existing Word or Pages doc, you can locate your Obsidian vault folder on your device's filesystem, and drag the Word or Pages doc into the folder. You'll then be able to link to the doc from your Obsidian notes.

    What theme are you using here? It’s a great looking setup.

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s a theme based on my favorite task manager, Things 3. The theme is aptly named “Things”, and it’s made by Colin Eckert.

    Thx! Can you show us your templates and make tutorials to build them plz?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve got a video demonstrating how to use Obsidian’s template system:
      th-cam.com/video/IR5Enc2MV3Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wlh8r_4R30MUBi9F
      Give that a watch and let me know what gaps there still are so I can address them in a future video 😁
      Thanks for watching!

    Hi, I like your videos, Could you notice me how did you color the line where the cursor is located?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for watching my videos! The line color is put in by my theme, which is called "Things" by Colin Eckert. You install the theme, then install the Style Settings plugin. Under the Style Settings, you click on Things Theme, then Features, then turn on "Highlight active line". Hopefully that helps!

    When I discovered, on my side, the backlink renaming function, before I see your vid, with the subtle " | " hack, I was shocked. Obsidian is a miracle!

      It really is such an amazing app! I'm on the hunt for more hidden functionality so I can share even more great features in a future video!

    Creating Aliases is also another great alternative for using the pipe for linked note titles. Thanks for the youtube embed tip, very helpful.

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You're right about aliases! They're especially helpful if you want to refer to a note the same way in multiple places. Then you don't have to rename the note in all those different places. I'd love to do another one of these videos down the line, and will probably include aliases in it 😁
      You're welcome on the TH-cam embed! I've found it very helpful when needing to refer to videos later.

    How'd you get those suggestions @ 4:15 ?

    • @creadevlabs
      @creadevlabs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Those come from the Tasks community plugin: publish.obsidian.md/tasks/Introduction
      I'll be covering the Tasks plugin in more detail in an upcoming video!
