Great setup... I know this is a rather old video... I actually have dual monitors (22in monitor and a 32in led tv as a monitor 2).. I have a widescreen webcam... but there are some things that I would like to add.. but I'm currently in the process of building a new system so having an adjustable keyboard stand or looking into another chair purchase that would add that extra convenience... **as a techie though, you don't want your tech devices being hit by direct sunlight... Again, I know this video is old... lol.. I was doing a time-lapse video with my phone and didn't realize that the sun came out during the storm, and it was beaming directly down on my phone and shot my back camera because it overheated... lol.. still a great storm capture though.. lol. Thanks for sharing your setup.. :)

Still trying to decide which platforms to apply to, but my anxiety lessens everytime I watch you🙏 So, I have an HP envy that I purchased last year. I don't want to get too crazy until I start to make some money as a RON. What would you recommend as a bare bones start? I have my laptop, desk, chair. So I'm thinking just a good headset and maybe add a better camera (than my laptop) and bigger monitor as I progress?

You can hold off on the headset, bigger monitor and a better camera for now. They’ll be looking at the document more than they will you so don’t worry If it’s not an HD picture.

Honestly I prefer laptops over desktops and MAC over PC so a MacBook Air is perfect but if you’re on a budget you can get any entry level PC and be fine just make sure you have a good internet connection.
I swear by Macs I think they’re the best computer you can get but they’re also pricey. Simple MacBook Air will do. Otherwise any basic computer will be just fine as long as it has a decent camera.

Yea computer cameras aren’t that great but it’s fine for RON. They don’t need to be super clear just generally able to see you.

Yes you can use a tablet I’d just attach a keyboard if you were to use one
Do you have a printer?? Or are you just going to do RON only?
No printer- I do majority RON and my mobile is typically general notary work so I don’t need to print anything.
