This is easily one of the best darts channels, and has helped me further my darts knowledge. These darts look super nice but as a 24g man, I don’t think I could throw these
I've watched a fair share of your videos now and still amazed how you shoot your darts the way you do. Crazy part is how accurate you are pretty consistently with a wide range of darts.
Dartitis did a number on my action but with desire and hard work I never gave up. To rant a bit I was always your typical American dart player playing a mix of cricket and 501. It wasn't until I ditched cricket and focused on long format 501 that I got really good. It made a day and night difference to how I played.
@@WorldwideDarts Sorry for replying to an old video, but it's interesting that you see Cricket as not as conducive to skill improvement as 501. Is there a reason for this? I thought Cricket was seen as more skillful? Curious to know from an American who plays the game far better than I do (3 mark average but capable of 5 mark average games on occasion)

Hello :-) Just got these in the 29 gram. Other than the obvious issue about a chunky dart, I can't say enough good things about them. Love the grip ... they take off like a rocket. I've bought more sets of darts in my life than anyone I know ... but these are the ones I'm going with the foreseeable future. Cheers :-)
When I played in Korea in the mid- '00s there was a guy that threw 36g darts. He threw them so hard, it was like the board said something to his mother. One day we were curious and pulled the board off the wall after his throw, and the points were sticking out of the back. I was playing him in 301 once and he Robin Hooded in the T20 and the flight and stem just exploded.
I have to say you are now my favourite darts review channel. Helps when the reviewer can talk & throw as well as you, especially with any type of dart 👍🏻 from 14g Hankeys to 32g Searle. I think I'll buy 26g version of these once released 🎯
Worldwide; Great review. Those darts and the grip look really nice. The only downside for me is the weight; my darts are normally between 24-26 grams. Keep the reviews coming
I've got some 36 gram darts and man is it tough to group them. I kinda use them as practice darts to warm up the muscles and it makes my 24 gram darts feel like nothing. It's like baseball where the batters in the on deck circle swing that heavy practice bat so their actual bat feels weightless. I recommend doing this tbh if you can find super heavy darts
Really enjoy these videos. Needs to lengthen the throwing time while chatting segments. Hour long videos of you talking about each PDC event, while throwing would be cool. 👍
Throwing them is like a fitness excersise for the biceps😂 close the gymss and give everybody ryan searl darts😂, Nice looking barrel and mannnn you really can throw with every sort of darts!!
Are you going to try to reach the PDC WC by entering the PDC ladies tour next year? Serious comment: glad they add short shafts instead of mediums as usually companies do, probably that's what Ryan throws to get the right angle.
If you're interested. Since you're a bit open to wider darts, but a reduced weight. Consider discussing a range of brass barrels. The main benefit of these brass darts I see, is that a set is so damn cheap. Great deals. At the expense of being stupid wide, like 9mm or so. Like to see your thoughts on them.
Funniest review to date hahaha well done mate keep up the great work. I'm only an amateur myself but I throw 30 gram designa dark thunder v2 and I find a lot of advantages already in throwing heavier darts. I guess it's personal preference but anyway it would be great to see you review more of the darts of the heavier range thanks a lot for your work cheers
Those are some fine looking darts!! Like them a lot too.. I am also starting to like tapered/ bomb style darts more and more too.. everyone who throws lighter darts needs a couple of heavy sets around to break the monotony 🤤.. Got my eye on the 24gr Dave Parletti bombers from One80🙄.. just don’t put too long a point on those Ryan Searle darts, they might go through the wall! Gotta go vote now cuz it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll🕶🎸🎯!!!
Yeah, now that I've done the review I'm going to test these out over several long format (best of 11) 501 matches and see how it goes. I use 18.9 gram barrels myself
I purchased a set of these in 26g, I have always played with a bullet shaped darts 23g, but i found Ryans darts in 26 felt light for me, i am thinking about trying them in 32g...
To this day heavy darts are still incredibly popular in the USA. They play a ton of short formats here so they can get away with heavier darts. In the PDC with their long formats the darts are usually much lighter. The average weight of the top 32 PDC players darts is 22 grams
I normally throw 24g (started at 22g). But I‘m really interested in the higher weights. Atm, I‘m settled with my darts but next ones I‘ll buy will most probably be 27+g👍
@@WorldwideDarts Got one of my 24g sets from them, they‘re great. They had some 30g barrels when I bought from them the last time, but they‘re not in stock at the moment. Those looked so awesome, maybe I‘ll wait and hope for those to come back! I think I also saw them in one of your YT shorts
maybe u should get something around 23g and similar grip? :D its weird how we always assume what we prefer cause we are just used to things. but obviously when you test darts this much as you, you probably are well aware of what suits you. i must have tried around a 100different sets of darts for sure, and what i found was that for me the actual set doesn't really matter that much. i can play at my avg not so good standard with anything, unless i have a midi stem and standard flight on, and have some grip at the back of the dart.
Have u ever experimented with you throw worldwide? You thow in a way that is not conducive to consistency. Everyone is different but using just the mechanism of you elbow and letting go of the dart early and following through is somthing fairly consistent with nearly all players. You throw the darts very hard.
No, never bothered to experiment. After I got hit with a severe case of dartitis I just tried to make the best of it. I only do TH-cam now and have no desire to compete so I'm okay with my throw now. Luckily I'm still able to throw to a decent standard and I think that makes the videos slightly more entertaining.
@@WorldwideDarts ahhh i see. I got ill with MS after 6 months of playing I had just begun to play super league I found that removing as many mechanisms that can go wrong from your throw adds consistency on all areas of the board
