Just found your channel today and I can tell you are genuine and real. Thank you for that. However I have a question about "bird dogging". I tried it a few years ago with a Nissan dealership. I had purchased a new pickup and I liked the sales person who closed the deal with me. That person offered me a percentage of their sales commision for any person I sent to them who purchased a vehicle. After I sent about 7 or 8 sales their way, I didn't get a dime. There was always some kind of excuse. Understand, I sent dozens of prospects to that salesperson and I know at least 7 of those prospects bought a vehicle from them because they showed me their vehicles or called to thank me for hooking them up with a good deal. Still, I never received a dime. So, my question is "How do you keep the salesperson honest?"
Great question and I appreciate the kind words ðð―
In that situation what I would of done was just send him one customer as a trial. If he paid you then keep sending if not switch sales people. Thatâs why in this video I mention grabbing a few cards.
You also have the ability to go to that dealership and have the people that you sent either go with you or call in verifying their purchase. A lot of times dealerships will give you at least 100 bucks. They would rather take care of you then you giving the dealership a bad review.
Hope this helps. That is an unfortunate situation. Once you have credible sales people you should be fine.
No written agreement?
@@jenninemorel7693 How ever you think would work best for you. An agreement wouldnât really have any legal standing to be honest. Would be a weak case to make in court.

@@Toni-ru7rpHey! Thanks for the feedback I greatly appreciate it.
Iâm going to be setting up a way for the community to reach me directly here soon. I can also reply to your question here mean while.
Car sales is good. Some industries are excluded from this unless youâre licensed. Canât collect referral fees in RE unless you have your real estate license. Same with mortgages and insurance. Thereâs a cap on the % or $ amount. If you get caught, youâre screwed and will get hit with a fine.
@@jeremymercado2235 Great information thanks for sharing and watching ðð―
There's a reason you haven't seen it. The numbers don't work.
Appreciate the input. If I didnât pay these out myself as a salesperson I wouldnât be sharing it to be honest with you. Thanks for stopping by ðð―

All middlemen do is jack up the end consumer price. Don't be that guy
@@blazecc8410 Not necessarily. The consumer will pay the price agreed on. Regardless if there is a middleman or not. But I see what you mean though.
NO one is forcing the consumer to buy.
how do you get said salesman to agree to give you some of his profit? lol he has no legal obligation to pay you because you sent someone to him.
Correct there is no legal obligation. But finding the right ones is key. You also have the option to go to the dealership and let them know that you referred so and so and a lot of times they will just ask for proof and they will give you a referral fee. But it has to be within a certain amount of time.
I know I paid people that sent me customers directly. I got one or two every other month that way and all was good. You just have to find them they are out there. Thanks for the question.
