I do have a website. I created mine through Wix and upgraded to a package so I can have additional features. This is something I would recommend doing as your website is your funnel for most of your customers. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Great advice! Yeah I usually cover with the tarp when there is a chance of rain but I was tight on time and thought I could get there before it started. I had an 18’ freightliner box truck for about 3 years and sold it with how hard covid hit us. We were paying parking and with diesel we were eating up the money that was coming in. I’m currently investing in other ventures so I will hold off on another truck for now. But eventually I’ll get a warehouse and another truck just not this season. @@Itsmoridiaz yes the 18 footer is to big, maybe a trailor is best because you’re doing big jobs, to big for a pick up. The trailor with the ramp makes life so much easier.

@@lvseventrentals The truck was great specially with corporate events etc. but yeah I’ll be getting a trailer for next season. The bigger jobs my helpers have pick up also so it helps. Appreciate the feedback brother.

Hey thank you for the feedback, glad I could help. So I take all bookings because it’s never bad to make extra money. I noticed that those people I rented too that only had 15 to 20 chairs, would come back and rent a full package later on. Also if they are willing to pay the delivery charge no matter how far they are then it’s worth it for me. Obviously this is beneficial if you are doing the delivery yourself. You can also try to up sale the booking by offering tables and tents. For example many people call in and book 50 chairs, then they call back and ask about tents or tables before their event and you can easily add more profit. Take the small booking as a foot in the door. It’s also a good way to get word of mouth recommendations. I hope this helps. You can make a good amount of money with this business. @@Itsmoridiaz Being that there is a lot of competition for example on Facebook marketplace and you see say 15-20 different advertisements for table and chairs rentals , would you say there is still opportunity for rental business.

@@ctristan3 There definitely is. Most of the people on Facebook have limited supply. So people will keep coming to the next person they see. You are also able to run a very cheap ad on Google and get some bookings through the month. It all depends on how you want to do it.

You are correct I can charge more but at the moment for my market I’m only between 20 to 50 bucks in difference. I raise the price as the market increases. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽

Hey great question. During the booking process we ask the customer if they have a water source close by so that we can fill the barrels. They don't mind it because the only reason we use barrels in the first place, is to prevent damage to their sprinkler systems or any pipes underneath. We simply ask if these things are in the area the tent will go and we let them know they are needed. We fill up with their water, as 55 gallon barrels would be very difficult to move and would cost a logistic headache etc. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

@@user-ev6yq1sq6n Yeah that’s a difficult one. Because you keep pushing it off as things pop up. Then when you pushed it too far and you are finally feeling ready, you already wasted the money you had to invest or some other idea comes up lol

@Itsmoridiaz well actually what I mean is ... I fall into the trap of thinking that I need special equipment or courses etc before I can start ... let's say I want to start a TH-cam channel. I'll watch 100's of videos on everything from topics & equipment to locations & backgrounds to use. But then I say to myself "OK when I can afford this or that camera I'll start" instead of just picking up my cellphone and shooting a video.

Hey brother good question. I used Wix.com to fully build my website and it allows you to pay for the professional email. I think I pay like 5 bucks a month to have it. It also looks more professional. I’ll cover a video on how to build a website etc but eventually if you want to get your own domain etc you will need to put in some money to get that setup. If you need help building your website you can go on Canva.com and they offer website building and have templates as well. Hope this helps!

@@JSn00py Of course. I’ll put it on my list. But meanwhile I’ll just tell you. To get to the 100k mark is all about how creative you get. For example; you buy a 20x20 tent along with 4 to 5 tables for each and chairs. You make a package out of it. You can make a 20x40 with two 20x20s tents along with the tables and chairs and that package along with deliver and installation will get you over 1100 to 1300 depending on how much you charge for the install etc. After you have the packages you set a goal of about 80 to 100 events for the entire year and you will get pretty close to it if not pass it. I’ve made 15k in just two days during graduation season but the more packages you have the faster it is to get to you goal. Hope this helps meanwhile. I appreciate the insights on creating packages and setting event goals. However, I was specifically asking about general inventory quantity goals. It seems unrealistic to reach the 100k mark with just two 20x20 tents, 8 tables, and 64 chairs. Could you share what inventory you currently have? This will help me understand better how to scale my inventory to meet similar revenue goals.

@@JSn00pyThat’s the thing you can have 100 tents and if you don’t know how to create packages and price them right you won’t hit 100k. One tent you can rent for $250 to $350. So that alone won’t get you to where you want to be. Even if you had 100 of them. Which would cost you $300,000 dollars to buy. A good sweet spot you can start with is 2 to 4 tents and buy 200 to 400 chairs and around 20 60” round tables. This alone will cost you between 20 to 30k. If you have the money go for it but it will take you a while to be profitable buying too much in the beginning. And keep in mind I’m talking about the the smaller size tents. A 40x40 will cost you around 10k for a good quality one. I hope this paints a better picture. I will make a video because it’s too much to type.
