I'll probably end up going non-ECC even though it's also a NAS, I really want quicksync and a lower energy consumption sounds nice, although I can get an amazing deal on a server with dual E5-2690v4...

edit: so I made the assumption I was suppose to grab the API gets from Notifiarr web UI and input them into the client app. But you need to grab the API keys from sonarr/radarr themselves under settings > general. when I try to do the check for Sonarr and Radarr I get a bad gateway error. "Bad Gateway: Connecting: api.Get(v3/system/status): Invalid status code, 401 >= 300. I followed exactly what you did. I doubled check the API key I copied over and it's correct. I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the network type in the container but wether I select bridge or the new network I made for the apps, like you did in your guide for installing the arr apps. it still doesn't connect.

@IBRACORP i followed your set up guides exactly but how does it work when you're DL torrents from a private tracker that requires seeding for X number of days? From my understanding, the mover won't touch active seeding torrent files since they are open? Does that just simply mean after the set time, and i have qbit either pause or remove the torrent that the mover will be able to move those torrent files from cache -> array? During my daily schudled move?

This is used with the Notifier Snapshot feature. It can send you hourly/daily/etc notifications with a snapshot of your drive space usage (along with other system metrics). Mounting your disks allows it to see how much space you've got.
I'm a total "arr" Noob! Do you have a guide that shows the order/sequence of installing these apps? Should Sonarr and Radarr be installed 1st and then other "arrs" like Notifierr or TRaSH Guides? Thanks!
There's some handy flowcharts out there but I think we should do a video of it for everyone so hang tight. Generally though you set up sonarr and radarr and then you use tools like notifiarr for the fine tuning. Trash guides website has plenty of helpful tips to set up sonarr and radarr but we'll try do a video soon
Is there a benefit to having your appdata config files stored in /mnt/cache/appdata instead of /mnt/user/appdata? If so is there a guide on how to switch?
Cache drives are usually your faster read and write access drives, rather than your mechanical storage drives where you'd want to limit the reading and writing of data.
@@mykpearson8085 I guess that depends on your file structure. I have 2 sets of appdata folders on different cache drives, so I'd need to make that distinction.
I just bought a new mini pc to set up a personal Plex server at home (I have Plex Pass). It will have windows 11 installed. Should I follow this to get my first server set up with automation?
So right now I have two Sonarr instances one for TV shows and one for Anime as that is how it used to be recommended to do it. Is that still necessary? It doesn't look like this plugin can handle multiple instances of the services.
Everything is going good until I get to 11:36 at which point, instead of getting a successful message, I get "Error adding to radarr instance 1 -- (HTTP: 503) adding notification: api.Post(v3/notification): invalid status code, 400 >= 300, Name: Should be unique" for both Sonarr and Radarr. Any suggestions?
In Radarr go to Settings > Connect - Change name to Notifiarr 1 or similiar. This was the solution for me. That helped me. I don't know if it's necessary, but I gave the same name to Notifiarr under Starr Apps.
Have I missed a step? You click on add notifier connect and there's no problem. I click on it and I get "Failed to connect to your local client". It is connected in the webui at local address.
Found it. Connect Nofifiarr to Radarr in Radarr itself. Radarr Settings > Connect > Notifiarr API Key: Of notifiarr Enable everything Add Webhook I think that was a big step missing on a video tutorial to be honest. It says it within notifiarr.... but I was trying to follow this guide.

I must be holding my mouth wrong. I followed the installation to the letter, and the setup mislabeled everything I got for my torrent sites; what am I doing wrong? I placed all of my media on a external SSD in a folder named media I setup a folder for movies, folder for TV and a folder for music, what plexx shows is all wrong.
So you tell us to go away if we are not going to support before showing us the program and demonstrating why we should do it. Then we get into setup, assuming we know what is going on. Struggling here.

There's no need to reverse proxy it as it's managed from the web. Always risky to proxy the automation apps. Maybe try Tailscale instead so that you can access remotely, we did a video on it
Seem to be having issues with the sync. Saying it syncs on the Notifiarr but nothin shows up in Radarr or Sonarr. Get the name format and Quality scores but the profiles and custom formats dont sync? Does anyone have any ideas?

@@austinbest9184 No, ended up just deleting it. Seemed to cause me issues with my sonarr and sabnzbd docker too. Constant freezing on downloads and sonarr kept failing to load. As soon as I deleted notifiarr all was back to normal. Was gutted is the trashguide sync option was a really great function.
Just a small thing, but the Notifiarr password was not listed for me like this. And the guide says it is the API key, which also did not work. I had to use this command to get the password grep ui_password /mnt/user/appdata/Notifiarr/notifiarr.conf
Is it just me or does it seem like the motivation behind Notifiarr could have questionable intent? (Spyware?) You definitely give a third party access to a lot of potentially sensitive information which is worth noting before installing this.
It would just be you. The local client you install is open source so you're welcome to make your own educated assessment of that. Your local information is worth nothing more than it was before installing this.

For others who see this, there is no longer a need for tunnels, port forwards, proxies, etc. Just run the client and it works :)

There are users with upwards of 12-15 instances across all their starr apps and it works fine bud.

This just means you already have the Notifiarr connect added, it is a safe error to ignore (for future readers)

With the Trash integration how does that work with multiple Radarr/Sonarr instances?
There is a way to see each instance in the UI and assign custom formats, scores, etc per instance

As mentioned there is no need to use a proxy for it unless you want to open the UI to the world (not really recommended)
You still have to connect the hosted app to the web app especially for the discord integration that’s why I was asking
