Worked perfectly, thank you! Replaced the PCB thermostat and the control PCB at the back as per the video. No more ice build up on the internal wet wall.
Hi checked door seals, replaced pcb board same as video 2.50, defrosted. Cleaned little hole at bottom of fridge, and defrosted twice. Still the same. Freezer is working fine. Beko frost free fridge freezer 5 years old. So likely to be main pcb on back of unit? As gas is fine because freezer is working. Beko CXS5104W main board not listed on your website and cant find manual? Thanks
Excellent Presentation! Many thanks. Can you indicate where the thermostat is located in a Grundig GKNG1682DN and how it can be replaced? Thanks again!
You have missed out the most common cause of the Beko freezing food in the refrigerator compartment. It being a faulty thermistor fitted just below the main circuit board hidden under the foam insulation
you mean the 99 out of hundred thermistor fault lol .. all of this and nearly always the thermistor fault...in fact i dont think in all the bekos ever repaired with this fault of over freezing fridge across whole of the back... has been the thermistor
@@sharkyxxx4057 Hi, my Beko CF5834APB f\f comes on and constantly keeps running, freezing the contents in the fridge with the control set at min, are you saying it's most likely the Thermistor? and not the main pcb. Thanks
yes it wll not be the pcb... if you have an even frosting over the full back wall of the fridge building ice and freezing food stuffs it will be the thermistor situated in the back wall of fridge from rear....@@Edge_Effect
@@Edge_Effect if you have poor frosting across rear wall of fridge not a full square then it will be a weak compressor so make sure it is an even feed of frosting..if so it will not be the pcb... when these pcb fail they usualy will not run at all and fail on capositor of pcb.... hope this helps
@@sharkyxxx4057 Thank you, yes it's an even frosting over the full back wall. I unplugged the thermistor from the pcb and measured the ohms while the fridge was reading -1.5c, was getting 3.571 kΩ which believe is way out of spec. Ordered new thermistor to give that a go.
Hi David, thanks for your comment here. Hopefully our video has helped you to solve why your food is being frozen in the fridge, and it is back working how it should be once again!
Every time my fridge has started freezing food is because the bloody temperature control knob (Bosch...) is conveniently placed to be caught by anything placed on the top shelf. Same applies to my mother's fridge freezer. These dials need some sort of lock-out to prevent unintentional movement. I've wedged mine with a piece of plastic cut from a milk bottle...
for me, its only the top part of my fridge thats freezing, the setting is as low as 1, i have a beko fridge and i cleaned the coils on the back, still have the top part freezing up
Spray painting inside, in the kitchen. Get this man an honorary Darwin Award, he sure is trying, especially if he plans to use that cutting board for its intended function. He took more precaution to protect the countertops than himself or his family. Spray paint is toxic, the fumes remain toxic even after drying, for something like 48-72 hours the paint gives off enough toxic fumes it should not be inside with you. Says right on the can to not spray indoors and use in a well ventilated area. Yay for making your house a toxic hot box for the family for a few days! Especially the kitchen. No matter what you do to this to attempt to make it food safe, I wouldn’t eat off of it or use it. It is purely decoration now. Should have been sprayed outside, and left outside until it had cured and fumes aired out enough it shouldn’t harm anyone inside. The guys kid has more common sense than he does!

Hi, thanks for your comment. This is great news, it's nice to hear that your fridge freezer is working properly again now!
Useful. Perhaps best to check items 3 and 4 first before going for the thermostat change
Thank you very much. That was eloquent, simple and to the point

Same issue, top left corner 🙄
My beko cxf5104w is freezing foods in the fridge , I've replaced the main and thermostat pcb's but it's still freezing food in the fridge
it will be thermistor not pcb... its faomed in to rear wall
Fantastic tips. Thankyou.👍
