- 12th January 2024. RFs now standing at approximately 368k+ Military Personnel Losses.
Creator's Overall Point of View:
=========================
These analysis videos tend to make commentaries on the shortfalls of an autocratic way of governance, like that of Russia's.
More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

Heating issues in Russia: ''All is going accoring to plans'' !
Weather forcast for moscow, a refreshing -28 tonight. Next week -3 to -14
A Chechen fighter talks about the state of affairs at the front. He says that they are starving, drinking the water from puddles and suffering huge losses. Multiple casualties can be seen. He also says they are simply sitting in dugouts and are afraid to stick their heads out.

The loss of heating may have more of effect on Russians moral than the loss of their men in the war.

Greetings from Canada Juzzie. As I write this, the temperature with the windchill factor is -41C in my city of Calgary, Alberta. And life is carrying on. Thanks for your reporting.
Edmonton here. Slightly colder but same thing. Life goes on when your government, although not perfect, at least functions and doesn't invade neighboring countries!
I'm in Calgary too. We carry on despite our current Provincial Government appearing to want to sabotage our Healthcare capabilities and our Public Education System, and despite that we have a Premier of our Province who Does Not Support Ukraine. 🇺🇦🤝🇨🇦
Stony Plain, same thing. But unlike the Russianss we still have running water and heat. Democracy is definitly better then communism. It's supposed to be -55°C with the windchill factor in Calgary Alberta on Saturday. I worked outside a lot over the years. Adding a couple more tidbits: Paraphrasing Anna in 'Russian Crimes': Why aren't you afraid of nuclear weapons now (as opposed to if they were in the hands of breakaway regions) when they are in the hands of a mass murderer?
Russia consists of 21 national republics and more than 100 enslaved indigenous people. The existence of many are denied by the Russian propaganda machine.
Brief on major lands:
Northern Caucasus
Idel-Urals
Kalmykia
Sakha
Tuva
Despair, Terror, Famine, Violence, Hatred
Northern Caucasus: 8 republics and 21 indigenous people
Russia loves to erase the identities of territories it occupies.
Are they Russian? NO
They speak 30 different Caucasus languages
Idel-Ural: would love to proclaim its independence with a strong movement; in 1992 they claimed their sovereignity, but in 2000 the Russian Federation swollowed them up.
Sakha: Definitely wants independence; size of India and Argentinia; they suffered a lot from the Russian empire; rich in commodities; mocked in Russian jokes, Russified and introduced to alcoholism,
Russia simply loots and steals from its republics.
Siberia is 30% of Russia; known for its movement of independence, 1917, 1918 - Siberia was independent; they will still claim their nationality is Siberian; August 2014 also marched for independence
Why do we close our eyes on the destiny of these people?
Why do we concentrate on the fear of nuclear weapons if the Russian Federation collapses?
The Russian Federation is a Frankenstein (great analogy) that consists of very different countries that would actually benefit from Russia's collapse.
Let's not be afraid of that.

I noted this winter Russia has not attacked Ukraine electrical grid infrastructure. Putin is terrified of response from Ukraine if he does.

Yeah? I thought, since Russia doesn't seem to have much operational infrastructure anyway, that they'd have nothing to lose, but...
He has attempted that last huge missile strike was aimed at most of Ukraine's electrical infrastructure but a lot of it was shot down so it doesn't look like they did anything to Major that couldn't be fixed within a couple days

The last straw was when hollande invited murica to a special D Day celebration , but snubbed Britain. When challenged, he said it had nothing to do with us. In reality no frogs landed on D Day, or for 6 weeks afterwards. It was an overwhelmingly British and Canadian operation, planned by us, prepared by us, and mostly executed by us. . Shouldn't Russia not have More domestic fossil fuel resources after the import bans??
They might be mainly exporting crude, without a large capacity for refining, perhaps?
Countries like India and China are buying the raw crude oil from Russia. When comes to refinery part India and China are doing it themselves after that they sell the goodies to other countries or so. Also when they buy the crude oil from Russia they are forcing Russia to accept their currency thus increasing their currency value and that doesn't increase Russia's Rubbish currency.
Kinda yes, kinda no. They have more crude oil available, but they also have less capacity to refine that crude into anything usable. There have been several refineries that have shut down over the last year, for various reasons - lack of maintenance, oil supply failure, Ivan the Smoker, drones, etc.
Add to that the problems they are having with their domestic Gas supplies, which are also breaking down for much the same reasons, and you're left with a country that will soon be mostly staying warm by burning wood...
I think that the fundamental problem with the heating (or rather lack of it) is that it is centralised mainly at the apartment block level, sometimes at the neighbourhood level.
This is OK until something goes wrong & then the impact is huge.
@@normanlazarus1836 But that wouldn't be a problem in itself in a society with the resources and priorities to do regular maintenance and the capacity for timely repairs in case of something going wrong.
Thank you for your great work! 1st! :)
Great reporting as always Juzzie! Love your humor too. Such a shame that Russia has so many great North Korean artillery shells!
Old planes -- I know people find in funny, but fifty-year-old air-craft (especially turboprops) are commonly in service. As are jets. NASA still uses an old Lockheed L-1011 in their aerodynamics program. They were MFG from 1962 through 1984 making it at least 40 years old (and probably much older). The United States Air Force also has four of the oldest Boeing 747s in service --all four Queens of the Skies are the -200 variant and their ages vary from 50.1 years in service to 48.2 years in service. And, of course, there is the B-52....
Maintenance matters😊
Exactly. Maintenance and parts available are key. Russian aircraft maintenance has always been pitiful--theft is very profitable.
@@7screamingdizzbusters Also having ground crews that take pride in their work and aren't drunk all the time is a huge bonus . rooski planes get a wipe down with an oily rag once a month if they're lucky .
Domestic airlines will not spend that kind of money.
The word maintenance should no longer exist in Russia....
Good news on the mine clearing.
Hey how's the big counteroffensive going?! O thats right...
Putin on RU economic wealth: he means his personal wealth is the biggest of anybody else
And again, no planes.... either the Russians aren't using them, or the Ukraine is very bad at destroying them..
At least the cucumbers are all right!

No, pipes will also freeze and burst.
That was the same farm where the putin clones were made . Some say that you can tell if it's a clone by the faint wiff of cucumber .
i thought they looked sickly. Thin, cold, malnourished, drooping, struggling - very Russian cucumbers. Was it some special Russian variety that ekes out an existence where no other cucumber would or could. Perfect for pickling only.

Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦. Glory to Ukraine's defenders 🇺🇦
Maybe it isn’t corruption but simply the system’s endemic design?
I lived in those parts for a few years. The concept isn't bad but corruption leads to poor maintenance, which can lead to disasters like these. Those aren't weekend repair jobs.
