Had the pleasure of meeting Sam on Sunday at the Arnold. Genuinely exactly as you’d expect him to be in person. So just want to say thanks for coming to the uk, thanks for actually caring about your fans, and hopefully see you again next year!!
My fiancé of 4+ years just ended our relationship. Watching sam and keeping up my grind at the gym is the only thing that is saving my mental health right now. Thank you so much Sam ❤
I started lifting at the start of December, and as a distance runner, running every day, 50+ miles a week, its harder to lift hard everyday while still managing to recover to run my best. I started at 5'7 122 lbs(not even able to bench 95 lbs) and now 3 and a half months later im 5'8 145 lbs and i can bench a plate now. I lift 5 days a week probably around 90 minutes each day, i take weekends as as rest days since thats usually my races/long runs, but if i have a rough track workout mid week ill take a day off and replace it with a day on the weekend. Im at around my goal weight for now since im still running distance, i dont want to go above 155 while im still running. My goal is to be able to bench 150 and run a 4:40 mile by the end of may. So that would be adding 15 lbs to my bench and taking 12 seconds off my mile in a little over 2 months. Lifting has really helped my running and ive already dropped my times pretty well and feel a lot stronger as a runner. If theres anyone else out there that runs as well as lifting id love to take some advice on how to train better.
Running is going to completely multiply you cardiovascular endurance, and leg build in general. However, simply put- if you’re looking to get big- long distance running will drastically hinder your size due to the amount of calories you burn and muscular fatigue. Good luck.
This guy is a genuine dude and I love his content. Just showing little love and support. Who doesn’t need the money is Mr Beast. I would love a gym collaboration video from those two.

Keep up your enlightening and motivational videos, people need this more than you think but I am sure you are aware of the impact you are having. Desperately trying not to be included with the guys who don’t do cardio I am wishing all the best from Greece.
Sam if u read this. You can't or shouldnt (for various reasons) go to the gym every day of your life once you do start lifting. As you get older you'll be ok with not going the gym EVERY day. Eagerness and the motivation you have is good at your age but don't be too hard on yourself. If you truly love what your doing and i can tell you are, youll never lose the desire to constantly improve and hit the gym.
I was thinking this as well, some people might not have the same fitness goals as the next. the person he was describing doing 225 year after year, might be a runner or something outside of bodybuilding that doesn't require physical mass and increased strength.
Why can't you go to the gym everyday ? That's nonsense , you can go twice a day if you want . Do you think boxers , mma or cyclists don't train everyday for hours at a time ? Nonsense !

I know Sam is giving the impression that working harder is always better, but trust me overtraining is very much a thing. 2h every session is very likely excessive. I've personally had the issue that my chest didn't grow, and the way I fixed it was not by doing more but by cutting the sets in half, and it actually worked. You only have a limited capacity to recover, especially as a natural, so please be careful not to overdo it.
Doing the gym is a constant battle of maintenance it's hard work as long as you keep up the hard work you get bigger food is the main product you are what you eat. 💪
That doesnt really make sense because muscle regeneration isnt that simple. You have a hormone that is responsible for regenerating the muscle and thats limited
