I did the same thing in 2017, friend had to drop out due to injury 6 weeks out, 4 weeks out he asks if I could go in his place as he was raising money for charity. I knew I couldn’t get up to speed for even a Half Marathon in 4 weeks so I just didn’t bother to train, booked a week off work immediately following the marathon, and ended up running and pretty much sleeping for 2 days afterwards, and suffering from horrible chafing
I feel like "It doesn't look great, but it is" should just be the description of the patty melt on restaurant menus. They're usually one of the best things you can get, but underrated. Wish I had one rn
The only time I will run a marathon is if something is chasing me and it’s more likely that I’d turn around and fight it cuz if I die oh well it’s not like I’m gonna do anything with my life so if I’m running you should too
