SM64 with an AI Mario PoC

For the lols I started on an AI controlled Mario, who follows the player around to the best of its ability. The key term here is best, because right now its best is pretty bad, but with not much code or processing overhead, it's already capable of following me across some basic platforming.
I have some ideas on how to improve it further to prevent it from getting stuck, but this was just some funny thing I spent a few hours on.

On the offhand, I think a Mario 64 hack targeting 60 FPS on real hardware would be awesome as well.

@@TorutheRedFox Not really imo, their hack targets 30 FPS, only has the option to uncap FPS but doesn't get close to that for most of gameplay looks like

@@ChromiusMixin Its not about opinions tho is it? Its either Kaze is working on a 60fps mod or he isnt. Not trying to come off as aggressive but just saying if Kaze is making one thats cool! Also if yall are talking about Return to Yoshi's island I cant say what the target fps is, im trying to not get spoiled cuz I wanna play that myself so I havent been watching Kaze's stream to hear what he's doing with it

@@Platformer64Late, but iirc Kaze said himself the hack targets 30 FPS on real hardware, with an option to unlock the FPS for fun and 60 FPS only being realistic on emu. He'll apparently also make all his optimizations available open-source once the hack's finished and out.
