Automatic Anti-Aliasing idea

  • Now that I can fully modify anti aliasing at runtime, I decided to try an idea, that if the framerate gets too low for too long, it will disable AA, otherwise it turns it back on. I decided to force AA when it's enabled, so courses (like this one) that otherwise didn't have AA can now potentially have it, provided the performance is good enough.
    If you can't even tell what's happening, look at the edges of models, and you'll notice they're either jagged, or smoothened, depending on whether AA is on. If you still can't tell then that's good because that means it's an invisible effect to you.

    It's not that noticeable, unless you know what to look for. Cool. :)
