    It was a privilege to meet him at Bayside Bowl two years ago. What a legend! His famous phrase “who do you think you are, I am” will never get old 😅 Thanks for the memories, Pete!

    Thank you, Pete, for 4+ decades on the Tour! You are the reason I started throwing Storm equipment back in 2003, and you've been such a huge influence on my own game. I hope we get to meet one day.

    He was my bowling idol as a child watching the PBA with my father back in the 80's and early 90's. He helped popularize the sport and was a force back in his day. Way to go Pete! You are a legend.

    I met Pete while bowling college at Lindenwood University at Saint Charles Lanes. He was cool and very friendly during our interaction. All love to one of The Goats!!!

    One of the greatest, most accomplished players of all time, and whom many would argue the savior of our sport.

    All the love to this guy. Im such a big fan and he single handedly (no pun intended) got me back into bowling, at least as a fan. He has had a really cool life as a bowler, I think its very interesting and hopefully this dude starts a podcast or writes a book about what happened throughout his career and when he was on tour. Id love to know the war stories. Hell, theres a huge opportunity to just know anything from this guy.

    I bowled next to him at the Dick Weber Classic in the pro am. He sat beside me and I asked him about his Triple Crown ring and he said, I don’t think I can get it off my finger! Seemed very down to earth.

    Thank you, Pete. I still remember back in the early 80's watching in person the matchplay with Tom Baker at the Denver open where you tied 300-300. I was awestruck and have been ever since. Good on you for the rest of your life.

      Celebrity Sports Center that was amazing. That place was not only cool for hosting the PBA but of how big it was and the water slide and multiple arcade rooms.

    Man, for all his controversy, you can tell he's just a dude who loves his sport. Some people just have different ways of getting there head in the game. You might be his enemy for 10 frames, but anyone who's met this guy when the lights are off will tell you he's as nice as they come.

    The best memories I have of Pete Weber, is the amazing rivalry that he had with Walter Ray Williams JR. Seeing those two duke it out on the lanes was amazing. Congrats PDW enjoy retirement.

    One of the greatest natural releases and ball rolls ever. Had he not battled some evils - divorces etc - he would have won 10-15 more titles easily. Fun to watch him bowl over the years. Again, one of the best to ever throw a ball.

    I will never forget you, Pete Weber. I have never met you in my life in any PRO-AM special bowling events, I was bowling at 20th Century Lanes in Boise, Idaho. I have been into leagues since year 2010. Thank you very much for your memories, too.

    Between PDW, Walter Ray and Norm Duke, it feels like my childhood has retired a GOAT generation in bowling. While I didn't always love your antics Pete, you were entertaining and a helluva bowler. Best of luck on the Senior Tour!

    He could've shot 80 idc. He can bowl any time he wants forever. There is no pba without Pete. Thank you Pete for everything thru the years. Thank you for being the "bad guy" on the lanes and the gentleman off them. You inspired every bowler my age. And it's so plainly obvious on the tour now. You were the very best of the best. 5 us opens, 10 majors 37 titles. .
    I would have always chosen Pete for a strike with my life on the line. No one more clutch in the big moments. Again from a fan thank u Pete

    Amazing longevity! Pete is the man! I remember watching his first TV match at 18 years old on ABC! The great Chris Schankle and Bo Burton announcing.

    Pete Weber & Norm Duke were the two guys that got me into watching the PBA. I would always go back and find events with either one of them bowling at the highest of levels and it was always entertaining, especially with Weber's flashy personality. It's gonna be hard trying to find someone who can match his personality and flair. He really will be missed.

    Every professional sport has the one person whose name when mentioned is automatically known for their profession and that person is Pete Weber. Love him or hate him he you had to respect him. People forget how hard it is to be on tour and be successful. The constant travel and lack of money Available over the years makes it a tough way to make a living. Pete Weber survived all that after 44 years!! Thanks Pete for being you and entertaining us all.
