It was a privilege to meet him at Bayside Bowl two years ago. What a legend! His famous phrase “who do you think you are, I am” will never get old 😅 Thanks for the memories, Pete!
Thank you Pete Weber for all the great memories and spares and strikes and splits and 300s in the PBA!!! You will forever be one of the greatest bowlers in the world!!!
Thank you, Pete, for 4+ decades on the Tour! You are the reason I started throwing Storm equipment back in 2003, and you've been such a huge influence on my own game. I hope we get to meet one day.
He was my bowling idol as a child watching the PBA with my father back in the 80's and early 90's. He helped popularize the sport and was a force back in his day. Way to go Pete! You are a legend.
It sent chills down my spine thinking of throwing your last ball after 44 years on tour. Definitely feeling the feels of this moment for Pete. Congrats on an unprecedented career, Legend!
thank you pete for all the good memories on the pba tour i grew up watching you on the pba tour definitely one of my favorite pba bowlers i wish you luck on your retirement your legacy will remain in the sport of bowling
I met Pete while bowling college at Lindenwood University at Saint Charles Lanes. He was cool and very friendly during our interaction. All love to one of The Goats!!!
One of the greatest, most accomplished players of all time, and whom many would argue the savior of our sport. God bless Pete. Thank you for all the memories. Best of luck on the PBA50/60 tours should your journey take you there. And above all else, enjoy your retirement. You've more then earned it king.
Not the stone 9!!! Greatest release and competitive spirit of all time. Thank you Mr. Weber, you are the king of bowling for me. I think you are a champion and will always be a champion.
PDW thanks for all you have done for the sport and you are the best thing that ever happened to our sport. I would have never spent my life chasing 300 without you. Thanks for all the memories
Hey Pete it was a pleasure competing against you all those years ago. Best wishes and good luck on the senior tour. I am sure that you can continue your remarkable career
All the love to this guy. Im such a big fan and he single handedly (no pun intended) got me back into bowling, at least as a fan. He has had a really cool life as a bowler, I think its very interesting and hopefully this dude starts a podcast or writes a book about what happened throughout his career and when he was on tour. Id love to know the war stories. Hell, theres a huge opportunity to just know anything from this guy.
I bowled next to him at the Dick Weber Classic in the pro am. He sat beside me and I asked him about his Triple Crown ring and he said, I don’t think I can get it off my finger! Seemed very down to earth.
Thank you, Pete. I still remember back in the early 80's watching in person the matchplay with Tom Baker at the Denver open where you tied 300-300. I was awestruck and have been ever since. Good on you for the rest of your life.
Celebrity Sports Center that was amazing. That place was not only cool for hosting the PBA but of how big it was and the water slide and multiple arcade rooms.
Man, for all his controversy, you can tell he's just a dude who loves his sport. Some people just have different ways of getting there head in the game. You might be his enemy for 10 frames, but anyone who's met this guy when the lights are off will tell you he's as nice as they come.
His U.S. Open win in 2012 will forever be one of his greatest moments and bowling moments in general; heck sports in general too. Thank you so much Pete and we love you so much.
The best memories I have of Pete Weber, is the amazing rivalry that he had with Walter Ray Williams JR. Seeing those two duke it out on the lanes was amazing. Congrats PDW enjoy retirement.
One of the greatest natural releases and ball rolls ever. Had he not battled some evils - divorces etc - he would have won 10-15 more titles easily. Fun to watch him bowl over the years. Again, one of the best to ever throw a ball.
I will never forget you, Pete Weber. I have never met you in my life in any PRO-AM special bowling events, I was bowling at 20th Century Lanes in Boise, Idaho. I have been into leagues since year 2010. Thank you very much for your memories, too.
Pete weber, an authentic legend in the world of sports. The so-called legends of the NFL, MBL, NBA, are not even close to Pete, the MAN. 'WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I AM!'
Still the greatest natural talent ever in the PBA. I grew up watching him on Saturdays during the hay day of the PBA. He is still competing in the senior your correct?

He could've shot 80 idc. He can bowl any time he wants forever. There is no pba without Pete. Thank you Pete for everything thru the years. Thank you for being the "bad guy" on the lanes and the gentleman off them. You inspired every bowler my age. And it's so plainly obvious on the tour now. You were the very best of the best. 5 us opens, 10 majors 37 titles. . I would have always chosen Pete for a strike with my life on the line. No one more clutch in the big moments. Again from a fan thank u Pete

Pete Weber & Norm Duke were the two guys that got me into watching the PBA. I would always go back and find events with either one of them bowling at the highest of levels and it was always entertaining, especially with Weber's flashy personality. It's gonna be hard trying to find someone who can match his personality and flair. He really will be missed.
