      Ok, the fact that you used that 💩 remake version of a classic says everything. That movie was garbage. The actors sucked. It was PC 💩 at its worst. That’s why it flopped. It was garbage. If you are going to talk about West Side Story, about the original movie. It will make you look more intelligent. If you haven’t seen the original by now then……

    Boricua here🇵🇷: John: you said “Alcapurria” perfectly👍Puertorican food is great, but more when outsiders acknowledged it👏Fact: Guy Fiery, who put PR Mofongo on the top of social media best food trending, said in an recent interview: “The BEST Rice & Beans (Arroz y Habichuelas) of any Latinoamerican country, is from Puerto Rico🤷‍♂️So much worldwide recognition from such a little island🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

    I'm a Puerto Rican American and I was born in NYC but grew up in Orlando. The majority of my family still lives in NYC (Bronx) and I currently live in NYC right now. Thank you for this video, Puerto Ricans helped paved the way for other Hispanic and Latinos to migrate to this amazing city, it legit hurts my soul not seeing much of my fellow Puerto Ricans as I did back in the 2000s even though NYC still has the largest Puerto Rican population in a city outside of the island. I hope that one day there will be a comeback of Puerto Ricans migrating to NYC because there's so much more history and culture than ... Orlando, FL lol.

    • @fasteddie9055
      @fasteddie9055 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your comment preferring NYC over Orlando, Fla. is heartwarming. There is only one part of your comment that I question is: Puerto Rican/American?? It's hard for me to agree with the label of a colonialized person and the role of the colonizer simultaneously. I was born in Manhattan & I'm proud to say that I identify as Puerto Rican. Your Puerto Rican roots identify you as a classic colonialized person. After 500 years of foreign domination what else could we be?? Don't be offended. We are all decolonializing every day. It's a process. I'm limited to just posting this comment because I don't want TH-cam eliminating my commentary. See Aaron Schlossberg's video for a prime example of our need to defend our language, culture, and history on a daily basis. HIs racist tirade went viral after he verbally attacked Mexican workers for speaking Spanish. It's very true when you say that we serve as a prime example for the other Hispanics to follow in NYC. Viva la Raza!!!!! Once again, thank you for your NYC - praising comment. Orlando, Fla doesn't compare with NYC in terms of being a socio/economic/ cultural center of the decolonialization process. Good luck, Andres. See you at Adela's Restaurant. Fast Eddie in the Bronx. 3/19/22.

      It’s 💩. Watch the original, it had actual talent. This one was garbage and it was Hollywoods way of trying to be work and Inclusive. It popes. The movie bombed at the box office. That’s what happens when you do PC 💩. I fast forwarded most of the movie and I was looking forward to Bernardo, Riff and Tony dying. They were annoying. The original is a masterpiece, this new one is crap. If it gets awards it’s because they are basing it on ethnicity, not actual talent.

If you are referring to Loiza in PR, the place was settle in the 16th century by Yoruba Africans that were brought to the island as slaves.
