So the whole "always standing on ships" thing got me thinking. Have we ever seen Vader sit in front of anyone? Only times I can remember Vader taking a seat was in his TIE, when the Imperial officer walks in while he's in the pod, and on Cloud City. I think it's a superiority thing Vader has where he feels that if he never sits down no one can look down upon him.On second thought, it could be that sitting down would be like having the "low ground", and we all know how that turned out for Vader last time.

I think he's kinda justified. The mission cannot allow for distractions, otherwise it risks failing. Vader of course knows this and is trying to keep the mission on track, after all, they are just supposed to be numbers. While I do agree it is hypocritical, I still see his reasons.
that only EU/legends version of Vader tho. The canon Version of Vader does not care about Padme at all even he had a vision of her and he forced choked her without any hesitation this story follows the canon Vader there is no hypocrisy about it.

The dark side can DEFINITELY be fueled by love, after all the dark side gains a connection by using emotion, any emotion, the more intense, the stronger you become and the quicker you achieve it. But still, love as an emotion definitely is connected, Vader likely just couldn’t stand two dark side users having a connection when he lost his wife to the dark side.
Came here after reading Rise of The Red Blade, I haven’t read the comics so it was interesting to find out the character I had been reading had been created years prior, really cool that the author took whatever was presented here and gave it such a complete backstory
