People are angry because this always happens in our last 2 seasons we only won 15 out of more than 30 points at the business end of the season and that defeat was like a beginning of the end to us as it always has happened like that that's why people left and the team selection was bad
Re team selection - burnout is a thing… some players need rest in between games against Bayern… didn’t we burn out last year and people complained that he didn’t use the squad enough

If I were Arteta I wouldnt play Zin at all, because he just brings fragility! Same with Gabby Jesus, who distracts focus in attack with his constant complaining to officials and "gamesmanship"... Video is spot on! We also need Trossard to play most of the second half, regardless of whether he starts! He's a guaranteed game changer! Arteta should also make his subs a bit earlier, to keep the team fresh...

Arteta killed the Aston villa game. He did the same thing last season bringing on Jesus to start and it cost us big. Now it's costing us again.
You cannot bring in Martilleni as a sub. He needs to use his energy along with others in first half. Trossard can come in as a sub when they are all a bit tired and he can cut in from the middle bringing something different to the pitch.

Thank goodness for your video. I think we can do it. I really do. As for Watkins or Isak, it's hard to choose. My question with new players always is will they work well with the manager, are they adaptable enough to play another manager's style. I do think Aston Villa will be a force to reckon with next season. They played very well against us on Sunday and I for one do not begrudge them their win.
But today is about today. I think we can do it, we can win. That's just my opinion, but so long as Arteta doesn't play Zinny and Gabby J. This may not be popular but for the rest of the season I would sit them out 🤷🏽♀️

Jesus, Trossard and Zinny are all good subs they are not starters.

Last season, we gained experience of what it feels like to be in the title race. This season, it was about competing for CL and Pl both. It is not a repeat of last season because clearly this season has been tougher and more competitive.
Ours is a young team that is still learning. We will only get better from here. I'm still gonna keep trusting the process. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. A couple more top signings this summer and we're there.

I can't believe that Jesus pace has fallen off quite a fair bit after his injury. Even Trossard is pacier than him.
Zinchenko is not prudent and defensive enough as a left-back. That's why we miss out the league least season, and zinchenko is definitely one of the contributing reasons.
Arteta has cost Arsenal the league by unnecessarily tinkering with a team that was performing very well. With 7 games left, it was incredible to see Arteta making four changes and this has backfired spectacularly

My opinion, but I don't think Zinchenko should be starting in high-pressure games, where the opposition have wingers that can really get at Zinchenko. We know he is weaker defensively than Kiwior, Tomiyasu and Timber (from what we saw at the start of the season).
Kai Havertz just doesn't work in midfield. He doesn't do too bad, but he affects the control and balance when he starts as a left 8.
Finally, Trossard doesn't really work on the LW againest decent to top tier opponents. He has everything apart from the pace to cause problems.
Everything is always easier to say in hindsight, but I just hope Arteta learns from this loss and we get back to winning ways againest Bayern.
I also hope we have another strong summer transfer window of incoming and outgoings. We need to sell off players who aren't at the required level we need now. Looking at Nelson, Nketiah, Ramsdale (only because you can't have two 1st choice GKs), Taveres, Patino, Lokonga and possibly Zinchenko if we have grown past him.

If Timber hadn’t been injured the first game of the season zinchenko would have been warming the bench. Arteta knows the team has evolved past zinchenko that’s why he bought timber to replace him. If we could get Alexander Isak for next season he would be a huge improvement.
I wanted Isak before he went to Newcastle, the season Odegaard was on loan with him at Sociedad they looked very very comfortable together. He’s be my no1 target this summer but to even make it worth Newcastle selling to get a profit be 100m+

I can't see the first game against Munich as a valid excuse for Arsenal's performance against Villa. Villa also had a tough European game before this match, and 48 HOURS LESS TIME to recover for this match.

Rice is another issue, with zinchenko on pitch, rice should focus more on the defence than attack. We have sacrificed Rice's defensive qualities (which are the best) for his attack (which is the worst) i dont get it.
Kai is not effective in the midfield, the performance of our midfield improves dramatically without him in the midfield three, thus reducing the pressure on our defense. However, our winning rate goes up when he plays the number 9 role.
so it is better for Arteta to always play him as the number 9.
Sane on the right wing was our biggest problem in the first leg in my opinion.

Yes...I do agree something is happening to Arsenal. We are seeing the same thing as to what happened to Arsenal last season...imploding again with just 5 to 6 games to go. Its Arsenal' s nature to fall off. So dont think Arsenal can fight City for the title. It would be another easy victory for City. We had hope Liverpool to be the team to challenge City but with Liverpool also suffering an implosion, City would now just cruise to the title.
