    I've been doing the tempo maps of our band for the last two weeks, but was struggling with it because I was doing it the wrong (long) way.
    Tonight I was going to start the most tempo changing song so I was preparing my self for a very long session of building the tempo map...
    But thanks to your tutorial, it took me 30% of the time I was thinking to spend.... You gave the steps I needed!
    Thnx a lot!

    Glenn, this helped quite a bit. The part about putting a bar of MIDI at the end of the click source was exactly the solution to my problem. I have been trying to export a midi tempo map for a friend to use in addition to a printed click and stereo scratch guitar track for use in Cubase. I've got the track working in Reaper, but not so much in Cubase. Time to watch some Cubase tutorials I guess lol. Thanks again, Glenn and Pro Mix Academy.

    Hi Glen. Thanks for this video, wish I found it earlier. I do have on question, however. I have a section which slows down almost to a stop before heading into another section, but the final tempo of the slowed down section is way slower than the next section. I seem to be unable to put two markers on the same bar on the tempo track. How would I go about essentially starting the new bar at a different tempo than the previous ended at, but with the "gradual tempo" enabled?

    Would there be a possibility of a tutorial doing a tempo change on a completed track? I've seen other tutorials but they make it look super complicated and don't really explain it well enough to understand it. This was absolutely super helpful because I start writing on the piano and input into MuseScore and do tempo changes sometimes. When I first exported the midi out to put into Reaper it didn't take the tempo changes with it (not sure if I needed to set something in MS). So this will definitely help the next time I have tempo changes and I can put them in Reaper before importing from MuseScore. Thanks :)

      almost all the tutorials do not teach how to modify the metronome
      still don't know how to add a metronome into a song

    • @AnitaPotterProductions
      @AnitaPotterProductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@omg432111 There should be an icon that looks like a metronome you just have to click it to enable it. I'll have to do my own tutorial about changing the sounds on the metronome because the built in reaper one is like an ice pick in my ear.

    I have a few songs with tempo changes and I'm trying to export an audio file of the click source, but the click source wont accommodate for the tempo change? How do I export a click source that includes all proper tempo changes in my song?

    hey man. im trying to go from 85 bpm to 190 but when i create a point and enter the value it puts everything leading up to that point behind tempo. its driving me crazy!

    Will try to make a tempo map with reaper with a DJ video. The problem is that people will notice 200 msec offset in beats. Cubase can generate a tempo map from a Drum Stem and you will notice tempo it is almost different on every beat. th-cam.com/video/P2OIB2CiXBs/w-d-xo.html . And adjust manual the tempo on a few markers of the Cubase tempo the whole track is off beat again.
