@@stevensmith1031 Apparently the creator/main writer of Disco Elysium was already a big fan of Sea Power before he started development on the game, so I wouldn't be surprised if he actually wrote the game around some of his favorite tracks.
My second favorite trailer ever made for this game. (The first is the fan-made "Detective Arriving on the Scene" trailer.) Great choice of song and love the order of the scenes, especially the way it all culminates in the end. Even though I beat the game for the first time last November, I find myself thinking about it so often. For me this game is a masterpiece of art and literature.
I can't put the words into this to say how much I love this... So Instead, I'll roll a Shivers check. *Shivers* [Godly : Success] -- That went all deep into my spine, never to go out.
There are verry few games & media who cement themselfs as art. What sets games like Disco & Bioshock appart is the strife to ask questions companies & people who play it safe never will. Taking a interactive medium and not only managing to explore the game but yourself along with it.
I'm always surprised by how much people praise bioshock. I played it a few years ago, along with both sequels and all story dlcs, and while I thought it was neat, I didn't find it particularly interesting or noteworthy. Bioshock morality system was asking you if you were willing to kill little girls for personal gain or not. Like, not a hard choice. I am aware of it's criticism of objectivism and libertarians and I agree with it, but it's not really interesting. The only thing that attracted me to it was the horror vibe
"No. This is somewhere to be. This is all you have, but it's still something. Streets and sodium lights. The sky, the world. You're still alive." Thank you for that video. It's just perfect
The cohesion and synergy between Disco Elysium and Sea Power music is something out of this world…
They made the soundtrack, so it makes sense
@@duckymouthyeah but the way the lyrics to this song that came out like a decade before DE so perfectly encapsulate the game itself is amazing

Really well captured. Thanks for this.
If everybody knew -- you never did.
Totally impressive, even better that any official trailer from the game
WAKE UP.
IN A NEW LIFE.
BY THE SEA.
Down by the seaside...
this made me re-download disco elysium for the seventh time. kudos.
Man I really want some sort of continuation of this game

Yes, this is the best teaser of game to show someone, who doesn't played it!

This really activated my shivers, amazing work.
This was exactly what I was after to show this game to someone I care about. Thank you :)

That was really great. I've seen a couple of fan made edits, but I feel yours really captured the essence of the game.

Literally best trailer made for this game
Absolutely fucking beautiful.
Wow brilliant job!! This editing is great! It must have taken awhile to collect all those clips
Love it!
Well done
