Roxas is on my list of cities in the Philippines to visit it looks clean and modernized do they have a good hospital and close to a airport
Oh, you're in Roxas City!!! It's the Seafood Capital of the Philippines!
hey mike imagine. that's the first event you went during halaran festival.. and now, ur living in baybay and having ur business by the beach.. ❤
How crazy is that right 👍
I met you guys at City Hall - It was great seeing you both! 💙
Hello 🤗
I'm your new subscriber brother, I like your style bro, enjoy your stay here in Philippines
Hi, your new subscriber here, welcome in my country, keepsafe and God bless from Italy..
Wow thank you for visiting roxas city..godbless po
Wow congratulations Mayor and Roxas City lgus👌👍👏
How do you know it's the most underrated, unless you have been to all of them? The best because the mayor picked you up :)
Not at all just an opinion based on what we have seen and how little most know about the city that I know. We came here last year with no support of the mayor at all and loved it
ROxas city is underrated compare to other capital cities real talk po un no offend
Ok - I'm on my way ! Don't start till I get there lol. This looks absolutely fantastic. It's so nice there and the city has outdone themselves. The sea front looks really inviting and will attract a lot of people & families. You look like you are being spoiled by the mayor and as always the people are so friendly & welcoming. We'll done Roxas City. Your festival looks amazing 👏 😍 ✨️
Don't take too long lol 😜
Man I wish you guys get to experience Dinagyang in Iloilo! Get a seat at the grand stand!
We have several videos on Dinaguang last year, it was amazing
@@ThatPhilippinesLife. It’s different if you experienced it in person rather than watching on videos ..😊❤
@@ZhanMiyong he means that they've vlogged about their Dinagyang 2023 experience this year. They have several videos in their other channel @ That Philippines Life.
They already did Dinagyang. They've been living in Iloilo for quite a while. Most videos are on their other channel 😊
Im excited for the Fiesta🩵🩵🩵
Hello there!..I remember that the hotel President's Inn during the early 80's used to be a post office and where the City Hall is located now it use to be a police station! There use to have a skating rink along the plaza near the museum!...Damn am old😂..Enjoy the festival to u both and have some fun!👍
It got cold enough for ice before?
Great work as always mate 🤘🤘🤘🤘👍
Michael seems so at ease, pronouncing words/food names without hesitation, utilizing the transportation, etc. Like a local. Lesson from this vlog: Always vent the lumpia!
Woow Roxas❤
Injoy here in our country ,Godbless .
The big 3 cities of Ilonggo/Hiligaynon speakers are
Iloilo City
Bacolod City
Roxas City
In Mindanao
Koronadal city
Tacurong city
General Santos City
I want to live here in roxas city.
Soon on the year of 2026 on April 2026.
That's fantastic
You should have stayed near the beach to enjoy it much more, presidents inn is just known as for their name and because of people who only knew they can suggest presidents inn to foreigners. Its much cheaper near the baybay beach.
Since I was there for the fiesta it made sense to stay near the main square but yes it's fun by the beach where I stayed another time. I liked the experience though it's good to check out different aspects
welcome to Roxas City ❤
Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️ all of the 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Roxas City Seafood Capital of the Philippines .
Capiz and Roxas speak Ilonggo or Hiligaynon
Peeps go to Northern Iloilo/Province (not in Iloilo City 😂) for beaches. Some of the most beautiful to be honest. Not all of Iloilo’s beaches are like in the city area 😅 Just clarifying that Iloilo province and Iloilo city have different beaches Lol
Oh sure you are correct, ofcourse but it's One to several hours to get to the beaches you are talking about, Roxas beaches are in the actual city was what I meant. Definitely talking about the city not the province. Gorgeous beaches in the provinces :)
What island is that?
Panay island, home of Antique, Aklan, Iloilo and Capiz
Looks like so much fun I wish I stayed 30days now...
Capiz roxas and Iloilo are same language
This is President Manuel Roxas place
Are you and Bianca still together ? I hear rumors..
Bianca arrived late tonight so she will appear for a short while in the next video and we are both in the next video for That Philippines Life too:)
Check your P100 bill. He is President ROXAS, the city is named after him.
We have more video to come, learned so much
You mean.. MO.. Like uncle MO.. The black shadow of. You know what I mean... he. he. he😅👍
Haha 😂 I actually don't and now I want to know
I thought it was uncle MO from Kenya Chris must list black shadow. Chris must list is a Canadian vlogger
👍👍👍❤
If you want to take some rest better to stay at the hotel a little away from the park
Bianca?
At the end she arrived yes
End of today's video I mean
You found and put a finger in your thumbnail, yeaaaahhh totally american
Canadian actually
new sub here. i'm sorry if u witnessed how corrupt our government officials are and how incompetent our leaders like duterte and marcos. as to why we are still a third world country
Why is 3rd countries poor? Based on DATA, several factors.:
One biggest reason is people who are negative and unproductive.
2nd, tropical countries like the Philippines have to deal consistently with tropical diseases, viruses and pests that destroy crops all year round. Tropical climate soil is generally poor and acidic and mostly useless. Needs a lot of fertiliser and capital to grow something and mountainous area doesn't help much. Colder countries, less growing season but periodically kills pests etc while creating a population to be more inventive to develop techniques and technologies to compensate for shorter growing seasons. Wealth comes from the workers, entrepreneurs, craftsmen, etc. Rulers or the government have incentive to look after them.
3rd is tropical countries tend to be less stable politically and militarily. European colonisation is first to blame but it is more deeper than that. Corruption?
If the wealth comes from this natural resources few people needs to control it and rulers or govt doesn't care much about the masses. Just simply divides up most of the wealth amongst key supporters - army police and cronies.
If there's a ruler or govt good enough to divide wealth for the masses then less wealth for the military police and cronies. And they have incentive to bring that govt down.
This is an oversimplification but those who have critical thinking skills. Think about it. Look at the globe and start going back to history 4000 years.
Been there. But it's hardly the equal of many, many other Visayan cities.
I like your narcisssism. For an American its not so tiring...yet.
The great thing about you people is that you leave 😅
We are living here not leaving. Sorry you think this way it's very sad that's the impression you get
@@ThatPhilippinesLife . Not really. We're on to you americanos. None of us are going to die in your wars of greed and inauthenticity.
@@ThatPhilippinesLife Good just stay there.
They’re Canadian (That Philippines Life & That’s So interesting). I’m American though🙂.
@@James-ll3jb I'm Canadian and I just like you have no control over what our governments do around the world
Thank you Michael for the scope of the vlog, you showed a bit of so much. I think I saw in one of the rock groups a variety of ages in the performers, luv that! TPL & now TSI knows I appreciate when you include cathedral /church architecture & also the including of the blessing by the Archbishop. Ty! Someday when you get your own kalibaw for Bianca & you guys get your horses & bunnies, etc…you can have them blessed , too-usually on St Francis of Assisi Feast Day in Oct🦌🐣🪿🐂🦜🐈🐈⬛
Correction spelling⬆️kalabaw🐂!
& adding Maraming Salamat to his Honor the Mayor, all the Roxas team & Mrs. Mayor, for the hospitality to our vloggers. Some of the inside perspective is always great!
