Well, hopefully we get more of them in future events, their interaction was my favourite. Not just because it's them FINALLY interacting again, but also because what Kazuha said about Hu Tao, that's literally her in-game voiceline "About Beidou". *The funeral director's been a Beidou fangirl for so long and now she's finally about to be friends with her.* 🥰

I was expecting him to say something sensible like "Lay down so you don't get in the way of my ambush attack" but nah, just for a pun
Also, the reason Cyno is in every event is because it makes sense for him to be in them all. They don't just go "Alright which characters do we want to showcase" and then make events from there. They come up with ideas for events, then decide which characters should be in them. And in everything he's been in, it'd make no sense NOT to see him.
And with both cases, it’s for personal reasons in addition to seeing him off duty and really letting loose.

This was un ironically one of my favorite events ever. So many characters, so many great line, so many funny expressions. And the overall quality was just top notch, with Charlotte actually walking through mondstat and all the animations during dialog.
I for one didn't blindly hate or disregard this event just because it is TCG *themed*. Like, only a quarter of ths gameplay is even actually TCG and even then you dont have to win to get the primos 😂😂 people really just read the headline and turned their brain off for this patch.
Gulab's voice in the cutscene is the same as Kun Jun/Human Azhdaha in Zhongli's story quest act 2. That's why it sounded familiar.
True cyno is a fun comic relief just like Itto. So it makes sense why they keep bringing him up. Although Kaveh's misfortune and Tighnari's sass also garners some laughs they arent exactly comic reliefs.
Though for most cases, it’s to see Cyno when he’s off-duty and kicking back to crack dad jokes.

A little nice attention to detail: In the ending cinematic Garvipidam’s character cards include an Electro Slime and an Electro Hilichurl Shooter. He also has the electro dice and elemental resonance cards in his hand, both of which are only available if you have at least 2 Electro characters in your deck.
This event is making me wish that by the end of the game when we’ve been introduced to all the nations, we should have an Olympic event. I would love to see all characters compete each other in sport events while traveler investigates a secret crime in the background again lol.

Man, in this patch I experience a lot of new thing, I have try TCG after not giving it a chance since its released, its actually so much fun, I have been missing out all this times, I am kinda glad they make a filler TCG patch, now I am going to try to reach level 10
I got hooked onto TCG the moment it came out and I tried it, so this makes me extremely happy to hear! TCG is a very fun and honestly such a low stakes time, you don't have to worry about being super competitive. I hope you continue to have lots more fun with the card game!

As rarely as i write comments i simply have to this time.
And thats because it was the very first time i ACTUALLY cried in genshin at the ending cutscene.
Yeah i was sad when Rhukkadevada vanished, but i never cried like i did this time before. And thats because i could resonate with the story in the final cutscene so much.
Such a death for me is always the saddest one.
Two friends, one of them deadly ill but the other doesn't want it to be real, not accepting it. He left in anger and the friend died. He could never have any final words, never say his final goodbye.
I experienced this myself and thats why i know how this is somewhat maybe the worst pain to overcome because you yourself also dont get that closure anymore.
So yeah i was somewhat excited for this video to come out to see how you will react.

Having dealt with the death of a loved one recently really made me bawl at the end. When they said they're never truly gone, they're still with us in a different form really got me. There's a reason that line's a cliche. It's true. The things that relate to those we've lost will remind us of them and keep their memory alive 😭😭😭
Bro, not even kidding, I literallycommented in like 3/4 of the entire event so that I could see myself when I watch this video! I really love the event and the TCG tournament, but something I kinda wish was the champions could meet and battle in a duel once more, but I guess it wouldn’t be the entirety of Teyvat so maybe when all the nations are created there can be a World Cup? I really loved your reactions as always, and amazing work to Bob for making this super long video! It’s always fun joining your streams and being able to watch you stream Genshin and interact with all of Twitch chat too~

I won with Itto's deck by simply playing it without thinking that much. Meaning just hit everything.
So I lost by thinking too much of strategy than just mindlessly hitting?! *sulks in despair*
Can we all agree that Itto's deck is a definition of this sentence: "Rest in Peace, TCG players. You would be mist."
Get it? Chongyun has a Cryo Vision and it's related to a cold mist. And Itto's deck sucked so hard it made me cry after losing. And then- *gets hit by Tighnari's burst*

@@reniercantre5937 To be a little bit more mechanical, my understanding from what I've been able to glean while playing Itto's deck is that he's got ALL OFFENSIVE ITEMS. He has absolutely NO utility cards, no healing, no buffs besides the food items that makes you hit harder for a round. Itto's deck is just offense, offense, offense which is sooo situational and hard to play against a better-rounded deck, which Shinobu has!
His deck has little refresh or recovery, and very little elemental reactions. Lots of weapons that clog the deck, and the opponent has lots of summons that whittle you down fast
Of course I still won first try(through luck)

This was a fun little event however I wish the traveller asked Char more about Fontaine lol.

They voice every NPC in every event quest, it's not new. World Quests are completely different to that and are not voiced, because if they were, it would be way too much storage/memory for people who play on phones.

Honestly i thought the story was - except for the ending - not THAT interesting but i kinda liked the minigames ngl. combat minigames are always based. The tcg one i actually liked while i don't really like the tcg itself that much. it was nice having the pre-made decks to test out new cards while not having to build a complete deck first. I thought the puzzle one would be annoying or super hard but it was actually pretty fun and manageable. And the stamp collecting was a bit basic but still nothing bad.
This was such a fun event

I really don't think anyone's truly "complaining" about any character being in a lot of events, so much as just making an observation about it and/or complaining about the LACK of other characters, and people misconstrue that. EDIT - And if there are, it's some random twitter dude that someone saw and it's like who cares if a random person or two are saying that, why even mention it other than to stir up pointless drama and then say "community toxic".

I managed to beat Itto first try, although it came down to bad AI. I whittled it down to Itto at 1 and Kokomi at like 4 health. The opponent went first so if they used a normal attack they won, but they used the skill instead.
