That first scene with the fly was an exact homage to Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In The West.
Binged and loved season 1. Ep. 1 sets up the characters, who don’t seem connected yet. But then the plot gets going, and the rest is riveting. When’s season 2?
Dominic Cooper is an outstanding actor
that is accent makes me thinks that he is a Southerner or raised in Texas
Is truly a verbal chameleon with great talent
This particular actor
Dominic Cooper
has impressed me with the last 12 years
He does a Southern accent and comes off as American
it's amazing how British actors are so well taught to do accents it almost changes their personality
by the way they talk British or Southern American
I want 10 seasons of this
Why stop at 10!?
That little dirty bag volume one
This show sucks. That other western on Netflix is way better.
Me too😫❤️🔥
I’m enjoying this Episode and I’m going to be so laid back too.
Omg the opening seen is the same as Once upon a Time in the West ! Fly in the barrel !
We have to see Clint Eastwood's son do more westerns
I truly hope he is given the opportunity
to carrying the torch
in this American genre
I hope that he gets the ability and the opportunity to do more westerns as part of his filmography
Is he in this series? Thank you 😊
what r u smoking?
There's a riff/motif in the music (2:12, but repeated later as well) that is exactly the same as from the American Horror Story theme. Even the arrangement sounds the same. I mean exactly. The music is not by Charlie Clouser, so I wonder if it's meant to be a wink and a nod.
What's with all the whispering? I've had hundreds of conversations with hundreds of men and never have I had a whispering conversation!
SEASON 2 PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
There better be a 2nd season
When we will have Season 2?
Idk amc has yet to renew I think. But the creators want more. Does season 1 end with cliffhangers?
Western now are amazing well filmed and extremely entertaining
But
sometimes the storyline and the narrative in the plots are sometimes weak because of writing and that has to do with the studios on who they hire and what they choose to write as a plot in these westerns
unfortunate Financial situation about these new shows that being promoted but for the plus version of that particular cable channel
meaning that you have to pay a little extra to see the show or show similar to it
Cable bills are slightly expensive because of the economy
And if you choose to enhance your programs choices and different cable shows
you have to pay even more money
Cable has commercials on the networks meaning that they get money from the commercials they also get money from the viewer who pays for the cable service then they also provide extra interesting shows and you have to pay even more it sounds like a full Monopoly to me
What not to like.grit, sharp axe and lotta tough talking.yeehaa😅
This show is too slept on
Use better slang.
Facts
Is this worth watching? I’m debating on binge watching it, but it doesn’t look too good from the trailer. Any thoughts? Also, which episodes is Gene Braverock in? Thank you so much 😊
I always had a love for westerns since day one of watching Bonanza in the early seventies
Gunsmoke is extremely amazing Western series as well
especially when they have stories of the past
that have nothing to do with Marshall Dylan
A few episodes were about people traveling and how they were treated because of the ethnicity & skin color
it gave a good detail glimpse of reality and hardship
amazing story lines that have to do with history of the American past
I'm fascinated that within the last 30 years
westerns
especially those that are available either VHS or dvd
Are high quality storytelling about Western American society
A magical window a glimpse of the past
Of American history
I love all the gun play
Must be an American
Excellent Western series 👍8 episodes,I’m on 4
What is about?
I could live anywhere regardless
however I've been pampered because of modern times
I personally have visited three different Caribbean islands
some with extremely humble toilet facilities way back in 2005
I was still able to adapt personally
but
the lack of personal hygiene is concerning to me personally
because I am a personal hygiene freak
I take pride practicing daily
my personal hygiene
it is part of my culture my upbringing
I can imagine living in a time like this
Frontier Western American past
where even modern soft toilet paper
As well as modern toothbrushes and toothpaste
And having access to clean clothing and underwear
Access to these comforts were not 100% available as we have it today
2023
Unfortunately at this time in American history
These modern accommodations were not available to everyone
Even the very wealthy
depending on what town you lived in
did I have access to these everyday items
that we take for granted
And the fact that even clear clean water may not be available all year long
I'm so glad that I live in these modern times
It seems there is a good story here, but it is very rushed. It won't last, unfortunately.
This show goes from superbly dark & intriguing with esoteric elements, mysteries to unravel and new technological advancements in science and weaponry that are unique and ingenious...
Then , it all falls apart by episode 4 , with stupid decisions, fallacious inconsistencies, cognitive dissonance and a flashback of young Red Bill and whatever that is that plays teenage Bill, is INSUFFERABLE, ironically next to a all time great and one of the GOATs of groundbreaking series.
Another show that had IMMENSE potential that allowed itself to get in its own way before it had the chance to actually launch and seals its fate when they assassinate EVE for avenging one of her girls, from one of the most despicable characters in the show - (and there are others who eat human meat ), so instead of a power move she is entitled to as a towns 2nd in line as well as financial backer, she literally was the backbone if Greenvale at this point and the deputy sheriff decides to hang her without Due process...?
Good job. You also just killed one of the main foundstions of your shows protagonist role, that is irredeemable and now we have zero protagonists in the show that aren't totally compromised ethically already or just a dumb loaf, with a pointless arc, that spirals in and out of full on "Manopause", while Thompson has basically been reduced to a cockroach , who began in the opener as potentially one of the most fascinating antagonists in a series in a long time... who by episode 7 has barely been seen or heard of since episode 1 ??
Eve had the most power in the show and was the most likeable and empathetic character arc for the audience to relate to, root for and is onky trivialised and reduced to a weak woman who cant do it without her man anymore? Really? After 15 years and bulding what she has, established and respected, only to have a epiphany out of the blue and leave herself vulnerable , exploited and captured .... and your writers decided a hanging was fitting, without even a word spoken ? Dumb.
5☆ potential that the showrunners allow to turn into just another thing that happened and 2.5☆ by episode 6.
Thank you
Extremely insightful and intriguing
quiero la película en español
The truth is even though bounty hunters were mean and sometimes extremely ruthless
They ended a lot of Outlaws
ended their Criminal career early
Sparing Society of this negative element
when American law enforcement was not able to accomplish this
Way back then
Hello
I got 32 minutes through this and gave up because it seemed aimless.
I understand what you're saying and I truly respect your opinion
I personally enjoy the characters
the mindset of each individual
how they interact with each other
But the truth is a plot and a narrative should be intriguing and entertaining
As well
Yeah, it's bad. Really bad.
It’s not like any major plot points or character motivations were set up in the last 14 min. No sir, why introduce a wide cast of characters in your pilot episode when you could just stuff exposition down our throats. I want the whole story and I want it now!
Thank God I'm not the only one.....
