Hi Doug, great video ...thanks. we were on the same cruise..cabin 11013. we found the closet too close to the bed which was a pain getting to lower and bottom shelves, also the sink was too close to the toilet and I'm a skinny guy.....I gave our state room attendant $20 our first night asked for ice everyday lol but didn't see him again which was odd....we've been on 30 plus cruises so it's the little things that catch our attention.
The closet was too close to the bed and the safe was really small. My knee kept hitting the sink cabinet when using the toilet and I'm a big guy so it was a small space. We have been on pretty much the same amount of cruises and you do tend to expect basics. You can tell that MSC has a different crew culture from other more USA focused lines. If they are wanting US Marketshare they need to step up their game. My full review and ship score will be coming out next weekend so very curious if you will agree with my review. Question. I paid for a balcony and was given cabin 13009 at the bow. It has a metal balustrade. Has anyone had this type of balcony? This is on MSC Seaside.
It does indeed look like you will have the metal balustrade balcony. I found this stateroom tour video showing a cabin at the aft with the same type of balcony. I don't feel that it takes away much at all from the balcony experience. Have a great cruise! th-cam.com/video/9IPFEEGkLqQ/w-d-xo.html
