Top Books from an English Teacher

Sometimes you have a TBR (to be read) pile that is a mile high and sometimes you are in a serious drought. In either case, here are three of my favorite books I recently read.
This Way Madness Lies for all you Shakespeare fans who want it in a modern format. (I.e. text message between all of Juliet and Romeo's HS classmates?!)
This is Our Rainbow short story collect that feature queer characters just living life. Such an amazing read for middle grade students who will encounter members of the LGBTQIA+ community living typical adolescent lives and not only consumed with issues associated with their sexuality. LOVE this one!
Rip This Page is a gem of a book that will inspire your students (and you!) to flex your creativity in writing by encouraging you to do a variety of free thinking activities.
