I gave you both some stick on the game preview video, but can't knock you for being pretty gracious in defeat. Albion have had more than their fair share of derby day wins against us, so we were due a victory - especially at the Hawthorns. Nice to see you having a friendly chat with Wolves fans before the game.
That's the assumption but might not be true. We had tickets on sale for members (takes less than 5 mins to sign up) and then you're eligible to buy from the few thousand tickets available (non season ticket holders/smethwick fans moved to a different stand and not gone etc)
Like yourselves, I follow West Brom home and away. From my vantage point in the Halfords Lane stand it seems our own ‘fans’ were responsible for what took place. Away fans in the home sections cannot be excused and hopefully ticket sale audits will identify the source of the sales. ST holders or members who may have passed them on deservedly should be banned. Bottle-throwing during the game appeared to be largely from the West Brom fans - and grown adult idiots entering the playing area. The Club will be heavily sanctioned when we can ill afford it and when the sale of the Club is clearly at a delicate stage. I predict a heavy fine. From what I saw the Wolves fans conducted themselves pretty well. No time for tribalism just get those responsible banned ASAP. See you at Ipswich. Shame I don’t feel inclined to comment on the game itself. That said, how Bartley was not sent off is staggering.
as an Evertonian, sad to see all this, years back the Kop at anfield would have a quarter of it full of Everton fans for a Derby. no trouble just outsinging each other and gettin behind your team. (not to say there wasn't punch ups in pubs later after the game) but seriously we don't want the game dragged into the mire of the 1970's and 80's. the impending punishment to the club will affect innocent supporters because of a few knobheads. sad but true. best wishes to friends in west midlands.
@@peterwhitaker4038 Well said, Peter. I go to about 50 games a season across all leagues. What happened on Saturday is thankfully very rare. Good luck to Everton in these difficult times for you.
A Wolves fan, I come in peace. David, first of all may I applaud you for a very accurate, fair and unbiased synopsis of Sunday's events. The difference on the pitch was our clinical finishing. We weathered the expected early barrage and played ourselves into the game. We expected you to have a lot of possession, which you did and fortunately for us, your end product was poor. Like you, I could not comprehend how Bartley remained on the pitch. Whilst his "assault" on Cunha, may have endeared himself to an element of your fanbase, his ill discipline, showed our players & fans alike, that the Albion players were rattled, as time was running out. I personally, thought his actions actually galvanised the Wolves players to continue to push forward , in search of the second goal, which ultimately, sealed the tie. The disgusting , unsavoury events which took place subsequently, I don't wish to discuss, as I have no intention of giving the people involved any "airtime". Believe it or not, I now fear for your club, with the potential ramifications from the FA. I personally, would love to have WBA & Birmingham City back in the Premier League alongside Villa & Wolves. Good luck for the remainder of the season from a wanky wanderer. FWAW
Nice vlog lads. As a Wolves fan we didn’t get out of second gear but knew on the counter attack we could do you as a lot of Premier league teams struggle to cope.
I went to the game more in hope than expectation knowing deep down we would lose because of Wolves attacking quality . Neto is worth more than the hole Albion team.
Very good! Lovely video and a brilliant record of a big occasion Two great clubs with very strong identities and heritage. A real derby day. Good work all the best from Carlisle
Good Vlog - very balanced, Wolves just had a little more class, both on and off the pitch. Neto and Cunha, just had the quality up top to tip the balance, and not one Wolves fan entered the pitch!
Great vlog lads I think we just had too much quality for u today and to be fair we was due to beat you I think honestly we never got out of second gear but we need more derby days like this
As a Blues fan I’ve got to say that’s the most passionate I’ve ever seen from the Albion fans. Credit to you, even when you were 2-0 down you were still up for it and got behind your team. Unfortunately I didn’t see the passion on the pitch. No one wanted to be a hero or take it by the scruff of the neck and it was a rather lacklustre affair. From what I heard, “and here we go” Dan was well up for it with the troubles. He would fit in well with us. See you next week!
Don’t know what game you was watching we was the better footballing side for most the game. They spent most the game in their own half defending. We just lacked a natural finisher, We need 8 chances before we put one away and that’s the difference in having a quality striker that takes their chances when they come.
You seemed to enjoy the crowd trouble too much. Hope you enjoy the fines as much. Bloody disgrace- was your fans who sold the tickets, and your fans who threw bottles at the players, and your fans who ran across the pitch to get involved

As a greek fan that has been watching english football more than 45 years im very jealous from the safety of your football grounds.. Here in greece we are centuries behind in safety at football matches. big rivalty between the 4 more popular teams in greece( OLYMPIAKOS PANATHINAIKOS AEK and PAOK) away supporters not allowed since 2008 3 greek FA finals took place without fans and in the finals that we had both teams supporters we had riots and we were very lucky that we had not some dead fan.... for 2 months we see greek football superleauge 1 with out audience ( only from cable tv) because in a VOLLEY game between OLYMPIAKOS AND PANATHINAIKOS some fans killed a member of special antiriot police throw him a navy flare OUT OF THE ARENA. 2 months ago so the goverment punished without a reason all the 14 teams of greek superleague 1 to play football in empty stadiums for 2 months. from next week people that love football can go to see live football again............. The incident that game in wba stadium here in greece it would be very very light for our standars allthouh that without the present of away fans we have not riots in our stadiums for many years but we have very big problem in the streets for example if you wear a shirt of your team and some other supporters of rival team dont like it they can sent you in the hospital just to steel yours team shirt. us a trophy.......... Its a very sad situation..............
It was a good match put its down to money to compete which we didn’t have As for the violence There no need for that but the wolves have to take some of the blame Kick off was early to stop drinking yet in the express and star this was published The match may have kicked off at 11.45am, but for many, the day started at 6am as they enjoyed their first pint in one of the many pubs choosing to open earlier to accommodate the match. The Hogshead in Wolverhampton city centre was one of those venues choosing to open earlier for matchday punters, also acting as a meeting point for Wolves fans travelling on coaches put on by Tatter Travels, a matchday travel company. And that’s the problem
You are trying to say that Wolves fans being drunk caused the problem of West Brom fans throwing bottles at Wolves players, and then invading the pitch and attacking police officers. But I don't see what the two have to do with each other. There is something fundamentally wrong with any fan from any club to act like that. I would be very surprised if the club themselves are not punished, which is not fair, but let's be honest it will almost certainly happen.
Wolves Fan brilliant result but there were two or three more gears we could have used if necessary. You guys played well and good luck to you. A bit of banter between us is great 👍 however I couldn't agree more, football violence was bloody stupid and if it was one of our supports in your end then I hope they're satisfied spoiling a great day . Come on ya Wolves pride of the black country!!
@owencallaghan4267 ... On your big day out 0 - 2 !! Bet you still having nite mares about it... Lol Enjoy your trip to the mighty Oxford UTD! Tin Pot Shit ... Boing Boing 🟠 ⚫️
Fair play, an honest assessment of the game, wasn't much between the teams but like you said, we didn't shift through the gears and had that extra quality to score a couple of goals, had more than the 2 chances though lol
Championship club means a lower level of EVERYTHING!!! Crowd control, ??? - tickets allocated to away fans ??? dreadful conduct by 1000s of home supporters. Only thing I ever liked about em was Cyril Regis!
Stevie Bulls a tatter he wears an England cap ....he plays for Wolverhampton and he is a lovely chap....scores with his left foot ... scores with his right and when we play the Alb*on he'll score all f*cking night!...Always Sh*t on the the Tesco carrier bags .... but a decent vlog btw COYFW
Grown men running onto the pitch waving their arms shouting 'come on' to people who have no chance of actually doing that , slipping on their arse and getting a 3 year ban , funny as fuck lol
great video from the other side.seen a number of black country derbies but not seen one for a few years now because of getting tickets. seen some great games and some not so good from a wolves point of view. all i can say is we had great results against city and spurs amongst others. but this is the result of the season for me. the desolate hawthorns run is over. and it is a shame that a few eejits crossed the line but it has always happened and will no doubt happen again. i hope we don't have to wait too long till the next meeting.COYW.
Tough one, lads! We played pretty well, had our chances but couldn’t capitalize. Two mistakes really hurt us. Very exciting game, but very unfortunate ending to it. Come on you Baggies, beat the Blues!
Albion fans chucking bottles at Wolves players at every corner, Albion fans sold their tickets to Wolves fans in the home end, Albion fans start the fighting, Albion fans invade the pitch, Albion fans attack the police and stewards. Wolves fans show incredible restraint not to react Every way you look at it a hefty punishment from the FA is on it's way.
You all stood there & done nothing! The man with the blue flat cap to the right didn’t have the bollocks to get past a steward in her mid 50’s! Hard as fuck you lot are!!!! Got done at your own ground 😂😊
Looks like anyone who wanted to be part of the aggro could just climb over the front & walk round the pitch to where it was happening - a Hawthorns security issue
your views on the game are a little over bias, West Birmingham only had half chances, nothing really clear cut, and our second goal was onside if you were to view it from Halfords lane, Bartley could have been sent off with his elbow into Cunhas face, Wolves did a job on you, didn't need to go through the gears, Albion look a decent team to me, but Wolves just allowed you to have possession we didn't want to get into a sort of nasty ding dong we may have had players sent off, we sat back , had a look at what you had to offer, then broke out when we needed to , if we went a goal down, Wolves would have pushed up another 15 yards and took the game to you more, anyway, think you will be in play offs, but you could serious do with a striker that bloke from Salford looks a lower league player, plenty of effort but no real skill or dexterity.
This what I call a proper derby! Same city derby’s like blues vs villa and united vs city is pathetic. They both share the same buses and pass each other on the same streets in the city centre with no aggro only till match day does it kick off.
I am John, a baggies fan and would firstly say how pleased I am that Dan and his dad are safe 👍 On the match, I have to be honest, that in the first half we played well, however Wolves deserved their win as our players gifted them both goals, and Wolves looked premier league quality,.. For their goals, what the hell was Mowatt playing at with his corner kick, and our midfield and defence were both very sloppy and nowhere near a match for the atheticism and pace of the Wolves players.. On the trouble, I will say this; The FA can; 1. Severely fine us, and given we are in a dire financial mess then we WILL be in trouble.. 2. The FA can deduct us points, and we can kiss the play offs goodbye if they do.. 3. Our takeover can be severely compromised as the prospective new owner could walk away not wanting to be associated with a club that has voilent fans - no matter what or who started the troubles.. Digest the above baggies fans..
Trying to pin all the trouble on a Wolves fan who had been sold a ticket by an Albion fan is laughable. Lets not forget, the police arrested plenty of baggies trouble makers before the game.Albion fans throwing coins and bottle at Doyle when he was taking a corner was worse, and the behaviour from them in the end was just embarrassing. Regarding the game, it was Wolves winning in third gear against the plucky, smaller, lower league side. We didnt really have a glove laid on us.
You keep blaming Wolves fans for being in the Albion end…..who allowed that, Albion obviously. And before the riot you made no mention whatsoever of the bottle throwing at the Wolves players taking corners. I’m disappointed in you two to be honest joining in the childish chanting when the mayhem was going on around you….
And there;s bound to be some away fans in the home areas at EVERY match. It's only the idiot thugs at Albiom who tried to use this as an excuse to invade the pitch and get the match abandoned because they were losing.
It was only one wolves fan who was sitting by players families and friends. He must have revealed himself after the second goal, and there are reports he spat at a players family member. It was a big over reaction from the Brummie road enders. But take it from me, it was one Wolves fan who caused all that mayem. Also don't speculate how he obtained the ticket.
It happens at every cup games all around the country ...Admin staff and general staff at each club get access from their clubs either free or purchase priority...Then the tickets end up with touts or the staff freebies are flogged to anyone to make them a few extra quid. I know ive done it myself when i worked at a well known club some years ago mind....im sure alot of clubs have tightened it up since.... but i doubt anywhere near enough.
Its every we go b5 section the best supporters in the world from Smethwick no one wanted to row with us we have to much local knowledge for a small stadium we are the most passionate whwen. passionate when its rocking its the best supporters we have heart
24:16 These are the fans of the future, but when they witness disgusting scenes like these, it leaves children frightened and afraid. Why would they, or responsible parents, want them to attend ever again?
Great vid, i think the trouble was caused by albion fans desperate to get on and beat up one or two wolves fans which is a bit cowardly if you ask me, however, it takes me back to when I went in the wolves end in the 80's when we beat the Wolves against expectations 2-1 and when we scored a few groups of Albion fans celebrated by me and all were pounced on by mobs of Wolves fans and beaten up before security chucked out the Albion fans, the hatred and vitriol towards baggies fans was intense then also. Anyway, hopefully we wont get too big a fine as we cant afford it. On the pitch 2 quality forwards scored for wolves when we are struggling up front and a have a £300,00 buy playing, lets hope we beat the Blues, COYB

The match may have kicked off at 11.45am, but for many, the day started at 6am as they enjoyed their first pint in one of the many pubs choosing to open earlier to accommodate the match.
How did the song go “who put the ball in the dingles net?” None of them har har!
As A Wolves Fan it Was A Great Game Albion Played Really Well just a Pitty Some Numptys ruin a Good Day
Wolves Fan brilliant result but there were two or three more gears we could have used if necessary.
You guys played well and good luck to you.
A bit of banter between us is great 👍 however I couldn't agree more, football violence was bloody stupid and if it was one of our supports in your end then I hope they're satisfied spoiling a great day .
Come on ya Wolves pride of the black country!!
Great video mate. Love watching them. Makes my weekend ❤ Big love from the Channel Islands. Let’s hope for a Jersey Bulls away draw 🤞
Good insight to the match.. good viewing... top blog .. from a Wolves fan 👍
Some very dodgy nests on peoples heads in the midlands....
As a neutral with no connection to either team. Its clear that W.B.A have an inferiority complex of their big brother next door.
We certainly dont pal
@@owencallaghan4267 That's the takeaway from these violent scenes.
Oh yes, that is perceptively accurate ~ mucho mucho anal retention boing boing…
@owencallaghan4267 ... On your big day out 0 - 2 !!
Bet you still having nite mares about it... Lol
Enjoy your trip to the mighty Oxford UTD!
Tin Pot Shit ... Boing Boing 🟠 ⚫️
Wolves too good today , oh yeah thanks for Bully and his mates ..
WE ARE WOLVES WE ARE WOLVES WE ARE WOLVES
Fair play.
Great to see rival fans interacting in a decent way but obviously a few idiots from both sets of fans spoil things😢
Stevie Bulls a tatter he wears an England cap ....he plays for Wolverhampton and he is a lovely chap....scores with his left foot ... scores with his right and when we play the Alb*on he'll score all f*cking night!...Always Sh*t on the the Tesco carrier bags .... but a decent vlog btw COYFW
average prem side
Average, that's being modest Gary. COYB.
‘It’s me or can you not hear em’. Roll the next clip😂😂😂
Even tho the mighty WOLVES didn’t play well we still managed to get passed the dog Sh-t. Still waiting tho for WOLVES to smash them say about 10-0
Not even close for offside on the 2nd goal.
Love your guys energy, shame about the result
Tough one, lads! We played pretty well, had our chances but couldn’t capitalize. Two mistakes really hurt us. Very exciting game, but very unfortunate ending to it. Come on you Baggies, beat the Blues!
Wolves fan here, unlucky better luck next time. Absolutely love the father son chemistry this is why we love footy! 🧡
State of matey at 18:50 gesturing to the wolves fans, you're about 200m away mate hahahahaha
You guys over there playing football is like a war with some games with the fans .. Very entertaining .
West brom are embarrassing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
your views on the game are a little over bias, West Birmingham only had half chances, nothing really clear cut, and our second goal was onside if you were to view it from Halfords lane, Bartley could have been sent off with his elbow into Cunhas face, Wolves did a job on you, didn't need to go through the gears, Albion look a decent team to me, but Wolves just allowed you to have possession we didn't want to get into a sort of nasty ding dong we may have had players sent off, we sat back , had a look at what you had to offer, then broke out when we needed to , if we went a goal down, Wolves would have pushed up another 15 yards and took the game to you more, anyway, think you will be in play offs, but you could serious do with a striker that bloke from Salford looks a lower league player, plenty of effort but no real skill or dexterity.
Quality will always tell in the end 🐺🐺
This what I call a proper derby! Same city derby’s like blues vs villa and united vs city is pathetic. They both share the same buses and pass each other on the same streets in the city centre with no aggro only till match day does it kick off.
You lot must have been on the nose candy if you thought you were going to win this game we never broke sweat it was like a training session
Fair assessment at full time, 👏 👌, you two are decent Albion fans ......
Good vlog fair comments Dave WWFC
I am John, a baggies fan and would firstly say how pleased I am that Dan and his dad are safe 👍
On the match, I have to be honest, that in the first half we played well, however Wolves deserved their win as our players gifted them both goals, and Wolves looked premier league quality,..
For their goals, what the hell was Mowatt playing at with his corner kick, and our midfield and defence were both very sloppy and nowhere near a match for the atheticism and pace of the Wolves players..
On the trouble, I will say this;
The FA can;
Digest the above baggies fans..
fair statement, be shame if the real supporters suffer from the rent a mobs lot actions
and they call wolves dingles kin spiders jimmy saville hes one of you own 🤣
Trying to pin all the trouble on a Wolves fan who had been sold a ticket by an Albion fan is laughable.
😂😂😂😂😂
Awww hurt your feelings did they 😂 PUSSY !!!
And there;s bound to be some away fans in the home areas at EVERY match. It's only the idiot thugs at Albiom who tried to use this as an excuse to invade the pitch and get the match abandoned because they were losing.
It’s a bit of fun stop being such a snowflake thinking you’re taking the morale high ground!
Why were wolves fans in the home end? Ask yourself who sold them the tickets? 🤦🏻♂️
That one guy was the excuse to try & void the game with violence at the moment the game was lost for Albion.
What was the score lads?
It happens at every cup games all around the country ...Admin staff and general staff at each club get access from their clubs either free or purchase priority...Then the tickets end up with touts or the staff freebies are flogged to anyone to make them a few extra quid. I know ive done it myself when i worked at a well known club some years ago mind....im sure alot of clubs have tightened it up since.... but i doubt anywhere near enough.
Funny thing is that Wolves supporters singing was not understood by 90% of players and staff... Time to sing in Spanish/portuguese😂😂😂
grow up, and think of something more original, so boring
hopefully we pull it of next game COYB
Its every we go b5 section the best supporters in the world from Smethwick no one wanted to row with us we have to much local knowledge for a small stadium we are the most passionate whwen. passionate when its rocking its the best supporters we have heart
24:16 These are the fans of the future, but when they witness disgusting scenes like these, it leaves children frightened and afraid. Why would they, or responsible parents, want them to attend ever again?
Was disappointed with Olbion yesterday, refused to get into top gear the whole game. More about containment than looking to win the game
There for the taking? All you did was embarrass yourselves on national TV😂.
Thanks for hosting the party. UTW
Your lad is way more more level headed and honest he should support the wolves 😂😂💛🖤🐺
Watching the game, i expected more from Wolves. The two goals came from mistakes made, and countered. I expected more quality.
How many wolves fans got into the home end ?
Forever GOLD and BLACK.😄😄😄
Was Frank skinner at the game ?
Enjoyed your blog - I’m so impressed that you have the intelligence to double the I.Q. LEVEL in your car to twenty with the addition of your son……it’s also to be noted that whilst the Milk delivery driver is long gone ….but his progeny lives on.😂
Good video mate. Wolves ay we
Makes me laugh, at first you are both encouraging that behaviour and the next minute you are condemning it
Remembered for the right reasons well it sure will be remembered
So funny ⚽️💥 maybe they’ll be more careful with their predictions next time
I’m a wolves fan, thought Albion played well, the stupidity in the crowd wasn’t needed, some of it between your own fans, but the wolves fan in your end wasn’t needed, football is the winner 🐺🐺🐺
Who’d be a steward doing that for minimum wage?
