Thanks for this video, Jennifer. The soft coloring of the clarity brushes, the shimmer, and so many stenciling ideas makes this demonstration invaluable to me. The possibilities for cards are wonderful.
Jennifer, once again you've hit a "home run" LOL! Not only are your cards beautiful, but the techniques and information you've provided us with absolutely amazes me! Honestly, I'm sitting here "stunned" with how you come up with all these ideas! I can't thank you enough for all the enjoyment you bring into my crafty world!
Beautiful cards Jennifer. I love your no nonsense approach to posting a video. You show us the technique in a clear, decisive way without all the silliness displayed by so many presenters. You are straight forward and don't waste our time. Thank you.
I am always seeing my supplies in different/new ways when I watch your videos. Although I have been crafting for more than a decade, I love learning new techniques.
These brushes seem like they would be a lot of fun to work with. I guess i will have to get some more stencils. I really like the softness of the colors that you get with these brushes. Thanks so much, Jennifer.
I am just amazed at all the ideas you have. When ever I want to create, but don't know what to do, I know I can always come check out your videos and get ideas. THANK YOU for all of your inspiring tutorials.
Jennifer, I watch all your videos with great enthusiasm. I have learned so much. I recently had a friend post about these brushes; for the life of me could not understand how such a big brush could be used for stamping until this video!!! Thank you for sharing and now these will be place on my list of "need to have lol". Great tutorial. Gayle
Beautiful cards! I love the die cut sympathy verse and the floral stencil you used as you demonstrated how to use these brushes! Thanks for always putting the links to items you use.
I have stencil brushes by a company that no longer exists that I bought about 15 yrs ago. I had never used them but found them packed in my stash when making my craft room. I will use this technique for sure!
I have these brushes and love them! I had problems getting harsh lines with my distress ink blending tool. These brushes created a soft even look the first time I used them. Thank you for another great technique video featuring a wonderful product!
I have only used stencils to give a subtle embossing technique like you did. I have never thought of coloring over it. I so like to see your videos, you have such great ideas.
These cards are amazing. I'm new to cardmaking and I am not that great at stamping yet so I love the quick and beautiful effects you can get with stenciling. I would love to have a set of these brushes. Tfs these beautiful cards and your amazing talent.
Wow, I love all the cards you created in this video and I am defiantly going to try these brushes out. I have a lot of stencils that I don't ever use so this will be a great way to use them. Thanks Jennifer for the fantastic inspiration and video!
Hi Jennifer ~ You were a VERY busy girl!! This is another fabulous video with a variety of techniques; thanks so much. You make everything look so simple, including these new techniques. I had NO idea I could use my stencils to emboss with....I'll definitely be trying that too!! Be well and thanks again! ~HUGS~
Jennifer Jennifer these are just fantastic. I agree with you about how delicate they come out with those funny brushes. Thank you so much for this video as I've been wanting something to be clean and soft or pastel and now I know what to do. thank you again ...love it
Love how these new brushes perform. Thanks for sharing and giving us a chance to be able to own same. Thanks again. And as always your work and video is excellent.
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and talent...you are amazing and so encouraging w/papercrafts. I learn so much from your videos. God bless you and your family. Keep up the great videos. Strength and endurance for your upcoming move.
I'm so excited to see this. I have been wanting to know how best to use these. I LOVE how they look on display with a hint of color in the brushes. Thanks for sharing your talents. :)
TY for the great Clarity Stencil Brush Video - love all your techniques and creations! I have been looking for these brushes here in the states - TY for pointing out where they can be purchased. Heading over to your blog to order.
Great video. You show us so many tricks we can use to make beautiful cards. I don't have any stencils at present but I have some ordered from Simon Says Stamp. The brushes will have to wait though. LOL I'm saving for a Misty
Hello Jennifer, That you for a wonderful video! I ordered these the other night and they are already "winging" their way to me! I am pretty faff at ink blending so avoid doing it most of the time, but love the effect. Hopefully these brushes will be the "trick"! Excited ;-D
Thanks, Jennifer, for the great suggestions. I have a set that I received free as part of a promotion on the UK craft shopping channel, Create and Craft USA. I've just pushed them to the side but will definitely use them now! Barbara Gray, the owner, is a hoot n I love to watch Dean Wilson n her on C&C.
I like how these brushes do not seem to leave harsh edges like the blending tool might leave on your design. I'm afraid to ask how much these brushes cost. Thanks for all the great tips!
When you spray the shimmer mist from such a high height does it fall on other things around the card? Does it have an odour to it? BEAUTIFUL CARDS, thank you for the learning video on clarity brushes.
I hope you'll do a video next featuring this with paint! :D I have problems with paint leaking under the stencils and I'm hoping this will solve the issue. Spray adhesive isn't an option for me at the moment :(
Hello Jennifer, I purchased a set of these brushes several months ago and yes they are beautiful but I am afraid to use them. You mentioned that they can be cleaned. I looked for cleaning directions and could not find any. How do you clean your brushes. Help I really want to use these brushes they look great and feel even better.
Hey Gail, I really love The Masters brush cleaner (no affiliation; it's just incredible and professional artists use it on their best brushes). It really works. You can even use it to fill in the ferule somewhat (area where brush bristles meet the metal) Doing that protects the brush and makes it last a long time. You can find it lots of places. :)
These would have come in handy when I was doing wedding invitations for a friends wedding. I used the sponge dabber from Tim Holtz, that was a long process....
wow - very inspiring - Do the brushes get caught on the fine edges of the stencils -I know this happens with the bending tools and can damage the stencils slightly ? Also would you recommend more than one pack of brushes ?
It's kind of like using a brayer, but it looks easier. Sometimes I find it hard to blend the colours without leaving lines using a brayer. Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check these out.
That looks like so much fun!! :) IM going to need some of those brushes!! Can I use my Distress Inks for this? I havent started buying any other kinds.........i do believe you have awoken a giant! My husband is not going to be happy! :) LOL
nah. you can clean them. :) i would get one set (4 brushes) - one for pinks, oranges... one for blues, purples... one of yellow, greens... one for browns, grays
Towards the end of the vid she mentions when she switches ink colours, she said (I think mistakenly..) that she keeps one 'stencil' per colour family, but I am sure she meant that she keeps one 'stencil Brush' per colour family, and wipes it off on a cloth before using a different colour. She also said you could wash the brush if you wanted :)
Sorry me again. I haven't been making cards that long. Instead of the shimmer spritz could you use perfect pearls powder or mica magicals and mix with water to achieve the same result? Does anyone know if this would work the same?
What is the difference between Neenah Solar White and Neenah Exact Index? The Exact Index is the same weight, but much less expensive (on Amazon), yet I see most crafters are using the Solar White.
the classic crest is MUCH better quality. they are the same weight but not same gsm. so the exact index is very thin in comparison even if both 80 or 110.
I love love your videos I've learned so much from watching your videos thank you for sharing this with me and hope I win the giveaway thanks for sharing
I hope you'll do a video next featuring this with paint! :D I have problems with paint leaking under the stencils and I'm hoping this will solve the issue. Spray adhesive isn't an option for me at the moment :(

WOW. For a 70+ crafter, like me, this is great. I'm truly a fan of yours. Thanks, again.

I just clean mine in cold water.
Could you share the clippers you used to separate the dies after you removed them from the packaging. Thanks.
These would have come in handy when I was doing wedding invitations for a friends wedding. I used the sponge dabber from Tim Holtz, that was a long process....
Is the shimmer spray similar to a spray of perfect pearls mixed in water?
Great video. Thanks for sharing it.
Very nice cards and very nice technique....tfs
Does the shimmer spray rub off on your fingers?
I love the cards
i haven't noticed it doing so
nice job Jennifer 😊
wow - very inspiring - Do the brushes get caught on the fine edges of the stencils -I know this happens with the bending tools and can damage the stencils slightly ?
Also would you recommend more than one pack of brushes ?
i got three packs because i am crazy like that :) but one shoudl be good.i didn't have problems with the edges.
I decided to get one and see how I go - I cannot wait for them to arrive - thank you for replying - been a fan for a long time :)
Do you have to brush back and forth really quickly? I have fibromyalgia and am unsure that I can brush back and forth that fast? Thank you
It's kind of like using a brayer, but it looks easier. Sometimes I find it hard to blend the colours without leaving lines using a brayer. Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check these out.
I often ignore my stencils, but these look like they would make using my stencils.
How do you clean the stencil Jennifer? Thank you
That looks like so much fun!! :) IM going to need some of those brushes!! Can I use my Distress Inks for this? I havent started buying any other kinds.........i do believe you have awoken a giant! My husband is not going to be happy! :) LOL

How can you get the misti tool if you are in the uk?
