I didn't know how else to explain it lol! It wasn't really what I expected it to look like, but it was still kind of cool! :)

Ooooh something that we do in the U.K. that you all want in the US, that's a rarity! So glad you like them. They've been on my list for a while and I think I may purchase as a friend has just got me into stencils recently and they look easier to use than the ink blending tools. Xx

Absolutely!! They're so hard to find here. Every time I would check, they'd be sold out again.
I would definitely recommend them! They're so easy to use and you get such wonderful coverage with them. I feel like it's so much faster and fool proof to use them. Less of a chance to end of with dark areas where you didn't mean for them to be! ;)

Yay! So happy you got them! I think they are awesome, and worth getting from the UK. Mine took less than a week to arrive, hope yours were the same or not much longer.
There is much you can do with them, especially when playing with masks and stencils.
I think I have seen Barbara Gray hold the brush down on the bristles like you did for more control for a certain technique.
Looking forward to more videos highlighting the Clarity stencil brushes!

Thanks so much for the suggestion of buying them directly from Clarity! I ordered 2 sets, but one of them actually arrived with a brush missing. Their customer service was fabulous, though, and they're sending me the missing one right away! All in all it took just about a week for them to arrive, but it felt like an eternity haha!
One thing I want to try is masking a circle and then using the brushes to ink a night sky, then i can reverse mask and very lightly ink some pale colors to make a moon! I bet it will be so pretty!

If you work on a craft sheet and tap off before you start to ink, you can still get a lighter coverage for more vibrant colours. Using the craft sheet rather than paper means you don't waste the ink you tap off as you can load the brush up from it later. I find a blending mat is a great tool too.

ChrisAndCats thanks for the tip! Do you mean to swipe the ink pad on the craft mat and pick up ink from there instead of the ink pad? Or still ink up from the ink pad but the brush the ink off on the mat before going to the project? ☺️

Ive used both ways depending what I was doing and the colour, but usually i pick up from the ink pad, remove the excess on the craft sheet by starting off the edge or by swiping/tapping the excess off on the sheet then working onto the project. You can then also use the ink on the sheet as you go if you want to add a little more. I found that smooshing the inkpad onto the sheet give a bigger blob of ink to load up from than picking up from the pad which is handy for colours like tumbled glass and spun sugar so long as you still start off the project so you don't get lines. With the blending mat, the ink sort of smooths out/disappears into it so you can pick up from there - i love mine, it's very handy. Your video was interesting as i have the inkylicious brushes and have been eyeing up the clarity ones, i think mine look stiffer than yours. I might have to get some!
