The only issue with that is Emmy may not have as much freedom as she does on TH-cam. Show business is also very rough.

I add thai chili sauce and peanut butter (chunky or smooth) to ramen, it's so good! If I have leftover chicken and/or shrimp I add that and green onion or even dried chive. I call it Lazy Leftovers Pad Thai. I'd run out of Thai chili sauce one day and used Texas Pete Hot Sauce and it was still delicious!
what flavor ramen do you use for that? i can’t imagine putting peanut butter into chicken flavored broth haha

You should try the Raoh Ramen from Nissin. They are 10 TIMES the cost of regular ramens (like $2.50 as opposed to 25c, lol), but are they 10 times better? I've tried a couple of them and I think the quality, richness and the flavor of the broth are better. I'd love to hear your take.
Agreed, even the noodle texture is amazing. The tonkatsu flavor is probably my favorite out of them.
Best instant ramen you can buy. And it ought to be for the price.
Well, in my opinion, if this is for a lunch say, 2.50 versus doing a takeout is still pretty good. Even adding saved veggie pieces still doesn't increase the price so much. Nissin make some good noodles, no? 🙂

I've found the healthier ramen noodles at the 99 cents store. They aren't fried. You can also use linguine pasta, and chicken broth :)

I always add Sesame Oil, I sometimes add Miso Paste (instant powder if I don’t have paste), an egg, fresh spring onions and if I want it to be more rich I’ll add some spreadable cheese :)
I have been to the "Bulk Bin" and other stores. Everybody sell dehydrated vegetables for homemade soup. Pour into the boiling water for 3 hours and they taste great.
Been there, done that.
Do you know anyone that sells the vegetable packages that come in the inside of the instant Ramen noodle cups?
There never give us enough vegetables.

Yeah, I actually preferred eating Ramen in my dorm room over whatever slop was served in the dining hall. There was a 50/50 chance of having diarrhea after an adventure to our dining hall. 😷

oh my gosh I haven’t watched this channel in years, I made a new TH-cam account and forgot a lot of the channels I was subscribed to, it’s so nice to see you’re still doing TH-cam!
My favorite ramen hack:
1 packet Shin Ramen or Shin Ramen Black (or spicy ramen) including flavor pack mixed in boiling water + 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter + juice of 1 lime + 1/2 can coconut milk + 2 Kraft slices while cooking.
You can also add cooked sliced chicken breast, julienned carrot, sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, and spinach/baby bok choi or your favorite veggies and meat toward the end as well as soft boiled or hard boiled eggs.
It tastes like Thai noodles after. You don't taste the cheese, it just thickens the sauce.
Sound good.
My favorite instant noodle additions some might think are odd. I usually add mushrooms, any veggies I have on hand but prefer the canned mini corn on the cobs, eggs, avocado bacon any sort of meat I happen to have on hand either cooked or canned i.e. lunch meats, chicken, ham, beef strips etc.

we go crazy around here with the cup of noodles. We add mirin, hoisin sauce, egg, green onion, sometimes ham or other meats...sesame seeds and sesame oil. I'm sure we add other stuff as well but just depends on the mood when we make the noodles. .

Omg my kids will be in heaven if I give them the DIY version. They love nuggets and fries, most kids do. And every once in a while I let them have cup noodles and they love it. I will make this maybe one day and see what they say. Thanks for all the videos.

Absolutely love your videos emmy! I did feel the need to comment about the sticky tab you were super excited about. I think in our fast paced society it would definitely be an awesome addition to cup of noodles but it made me think wouldn't that create more unnecessary plastic waste. Just a thought. No harsh judgments here.

My roommate used to add mushrooms, potatoes, carrots and a lot of pepper when we had the flu. We would also add something called kuchella on top. Yummmmmmmm

I take a brick of chicken ramen and mix in garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, bbq sauce, and, get this peanut butter and lime juice! It's really good!
My options tend to be limited as far as fresh additions go, I'd love to try fresh green onions in there sometime!! But I love adding red pepper flakes to my chicken ramen for a bit of spice! For beef ramen though, I like to add a little bit of soy sauce, black pepper, ground ginger and garlic powder! Gets a little grainy on the bottom with all that powder but the flavor is so nice it makes up for it haha
My fav additions are green onions, celery, mushrooms, spinach, lettuce, eggs, roasted seaweed sheets and BEAN SPROUTSS🤤❤️
Gotta put an egg in a ramen! I particularly love adding garlic, smoked sausages and green onions to my Samyang noodles. One of the things I still do right now that I got from my student days is using up leftover fries to make a quick spanish tortilla for breakfast the day after. I soak the stale fries in hot water and then mix them with the eggs.

I have some miso paste that I like to add since I pretty much can't find miso ramen without special ordering it where I live, and the miso itself is bought mostly through Amazon.

Growing up we didn't have a ton of money and i was raised by my 2 brothers (16 and 17 at the time) We lived on noodle cups. Well our neighbor was (now passed) native American so he would get whats called commodity cheese, he couldnt have it so he gave it to us. Let me tell you add that to any of the cup of noodles maaaaaaan is it good!
My favorite additions to instant noodles are cheese (I'd put a whole slice in there), egg, chopped lettuce and some pepper to top it off
