@@carolinathomas2758 Hi. I don't have any of his materials. I just watched most of his videos and wrote down all the idioms I wasn't familiar with. I did take the Written Test Prep through De La Mora Interpreting. Best wishes! (And I'm preparing for my Oral in January!)
To be a certified court interpreter, it's more important who you know than what you know. The process is a big ficking joke.When I took the test I was told I didn't qualify to interpret in court by what we were told was going to be Federal level court interpreters that couldn't agrree if I was using invented words or nor. When I asked the state of Oregon for an explanation or if they just wanted to concede my point that the process was just a "dog and pony show", there was no response, even after 7 years.
The Hawaii standard for passing the Written English test is 70%+ correct. The exam is not graded immediately. Each state has its own procedures and standards.

You have plenty of time. I used Quizlet and entered all of Joe's words, idioms, legal terms, and studied. You'll pass! NP.
