Thanks for video I am working on one that has five refrigerations circuits only using three two are working a and c work fine when I run B circuit the back pressure goes into a vacuum so I think the EEV is not opening up it is on the coast of N J I will ohm out coil and check for corrosion it’s 10 years old
I live in a humid environment and it seems I fInd quite a few eev failures due to rust. Do you have a recommendation on how to prevent rust from forming inside these EEV’s? Thanks.
Most of cases E416 is a problem of compressors. Seldom when condenser is dirty or discharge sensor open or short. And most seldom case when there is problem with power or power cable of outdoor unit(voltage is too low or too high, size of cable not fit, or fixing of cable in braker not done nesessary.
Ive been having issues in heating mode. Unit goes into defrost never starts indoor unit again after defrost. Now has thrown the e416. Maybe tech can figure this out. They've been here 2 times😢. What would i have to pay you to.come to Murfreesboro 😅
My eev is making grinding noises when compressor is about to start. No error codes. Also no problem with cooling. Should I replace the eev stepper motor?

And one more reason is refrigerant. Either overload or unjustified.

replace eev for sure check compressor to make sure its not making a weird noise
