This is not meant to be a game for the mass market, but rather a dedicated fanbase that has been salivating at the mouth at the idea of an official release of a Breaker game outside of Japan and Asia. And unlike last time, Bandai delivered in my opinion.

There was Gundam Side Stories Lost war Chronicles on PS2 as well as PS3. You had to import them from Play Asia at the time. There might be translated versions available for EMU. Then there was Mobile Suit Gundam Operation Code Fairy for PS4.
I’ve got to be honest, the gameplay isn’t quite as good as Gundam Breaker 3, but I’m still having a good time with it. One thing that bugs me is how you now need to equip a double melee weapons to pull off combos that we used to do with just a single melee weapon in the previous game. But on the bright side, the Gunpla building is amazing. It’s way more detailed than ever before and I loved it so much. I’d give it an 8 out of 10, and I’m definitely going to 100% this.
For those wondering if it’s worth a buy, it’s not unless you’re a Gundam fan. Wait for deep sale. For fans: I am a huge fan. Instead you have to stick a rifle onto your Z’Gok arm. Yay! - when using a skill you’ve mastered, a piece of your mobile suit will become a holo version of that “mastered” part. So, wanna use hyper mode on your Destiny Gundam? Nope. You instead have a see-through blue burning Gundam chest piece for the duration of your super mode. - Cannot adjust the size of any primary weapons. - Weird weapon categories. Why are twin blades one-handed? Why are some slashing spears considered lances? Why would a long beam saber have to be held with two hands?… No extra weight. - Limited customization of parts via sliders and resizing. I wanted to move some backpacks into skirt armor and the game refuses to drop it farther than mid-back. - Some parts have pieces that can’t be recolored and others have two pieces that are oddly tied so they must be the same color. - Cannot turn certain components off. All Tallgeeses MUST have giant rifles or shields clipping with their primary weapons. Oh, and if you equip their canon armament they’ll have two on them at all times. - Numerous visual bugs. - Long range weapons and specials are underwhelming - NO GUNDAM MUSIC If you’re a fan, this is a sale game. It’ll feel amazing at first but then there’s a HARD wall in the customization and the combat becomes repetitive.

Hopefully 1 day Banco realize the best gundam game would be one that combines Breaker - customization, Vs - combat and Anime - story/writing into 1 game.
for games like gundam, the scores from "critics" and "reviewers" don't matter. it's a niche game for a niche market. a gundam fan will call it a masterpiece, a non gundam fan will call it alright, armored core fans will call it trash.

If only dynasty warrior gundam got some love 😢
This game will have pvp? And I fell in 4'hours the game is very very easy , I playing now in the chapter 3 i dont meet the difficulty
0:05 -- "GUDAM BREAKER 4"...
Good lord... You messed up the game's title in your review!
Right, because some random "gaming journalists" that no one cares about is equipped to give everyone "ThE FiNaL vErDiCt".
can this be enjoyed completely solo?
They can't even spell Gundam right .. or they just don't care
Why is there no review on ign and such ?!
In the Past Ago After Zambot 3 then After Daitarn 3 by Sunrise then Sunrise Anime Created the Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 from Japan.
Seems just straight to the point hack n alash fun...guess it needed to be soulslike to be good
who tf calls it gundam double zero lmaoo
I don't think the gameplay in the video is decent enough for a gameplay demonstration
I'm surprised Bamco shelled out some cash for dub work. Now review Visions of Mana.
It feel like armored core but for kids.
Does it have 21:9 support on pc?
I'll just play dynasty gundam warriors until this goes on sale eventually paying full price for this is bad imo
Why cant fromsoftware bless ps5 in america with some of Another Century Episode. Id take a remaster and translation of 2 so quick 😖
No thanks i have armored core 6
Ooh sounds fun
I would much rather have a new Gundam Musou game to be frank.
I’m waiting on MECHA BREAK
Honestly it looks fun
Kinda don't like the visual effects, previous Game (not NGB) was better IMO
Megaton Musashi has always had a better experience than the GB series except the high level of customization of the Gundam Breaker series. They always have that strengths of customizing in their games especially the new added customization options to the latest releases.
As a gundam fan, ill take what I can get lol
If you’re a gundam fan you’ll wanna play this one.
Sounds more fun than Armored Core
Not really it’s fun but not on the level of speed or intensity of armoured core. Just something you play to mess around with parts builds and messing around in lobbies.
@@espeon37 that's exactly what I want. Not too big in wanting to play a game that makes me rage quit. I just want a game where I can have a good time and stretch my creative muscles
@@mobunagathevoiceofresistan801 then it’s exactly what you want go forth person who’s Username is longer than usual go forth and build the coolest, stupidest and broken gundams this world has yet seen
@@espeon37 ONWARD!!!
Wow this just looks lame, I'm just going to wait for Mecha Break to come out.
honestly it much worse than gundam breaker 3
i hope some day they made gundam game like armored core
You know...watching the gameplay of this review I asked myself "Would I play this if it wasn't a Gundam title?". The answer was a big "nope". Really unimpressive. Would love to see a good Gundam game come out in modern times..
Gundam breaker 3 still is Superior game
Being probably the best and most popular mech anime. You’d think they’d have better games.
The gameplay always seems worse than most Armored Core games and now Daemon X Machina.
And even when not based on Gunpla, they all tend to look like toys.
damn i was hoping for gameplay similar to ac 6.
I cant wait to get this and the best part its my day off tomorrow
Ooh awesome
Gundam Double O not doubl3 Zero lol.
This guys video formula is so in captivating and boring
Perez Edward Thompson Sandra Rodriguez Nancy
Cant stop building lmao
Lol story based on Model kits based on anime
so theres no PVP on this game??? ... that would mean a NO FOR ME
Womp womp
just bring back gundam mobile
you sound so fake is like you using the same script as everybody else who covers games but only plays for 5 min or not at all
as a huge gundam fan and breakers fan. this is a huge downgrade from breaker 3. also the stages have so little enemies and you just get teleported to stages now instead of moving from section to section. i'd honestly wait for a sale. or continue playing gundam breaker 3
Agree, GB3 is goated especially with the DLCs or the Break Edition
My only complaint about GB4 is that the combat is still clunky as GB3, Why can't they just implement the same combat smoothness as the Vs series into this. Hopefully 1 day Banco realize the best gundam game would be one that combines Breaker - customization, Vs - combat and Anime - story/writing into 1 game.
GamingBolt, great video my guy
for games like gundam, the scores from "critics" and "reviewers" don't matter. it's a niche game for a niche market. a gundam fan will call it a masterpiece, a non gundam fan will call it alright, armored core fans will call it trash.
Which is why they continue to make subpar, ok games. It’s ok to hold a company to a standard and not accept a polished turd with sprinkles. The series deserves way better than this.
