Improve your Landscape Photography - Epic Light on Mallorca BTS

I filmed this video a few weeks ago when visiting Mallorca for the first time. What a beautiful island. It was certainly not my last visit.
In this video I take you behind the scenes of photographing the Formentor Peninsula and of how I approach a scene down in the South near Ses Salines, where I try to photograph the local lighthouse. By taking your behind the scenes I show you different ways you can use to improve your own landscape and travel photography.

Michael, isn't there a weather app accurate enough that you could use when traveling abroad ?

Accurate at the coast is very hard. I use several weather apps, which give a good indication (Wunderground, Live Weather, Clear Outside, Kachelmann Wetter, ...). But when it comes to the exact shape of clouds you have to be out and try - and the shape of the clouds is essential for a balanced photo.
Also, on Mallorca, the Forecasts werent't good enough 50 % of the time. Clouds were gone very fast and appeared the same way.

Großartig wie immer. Danke für die Einblicke. Bis auf den letzten Leuchtturm kenne ich die Locations, da ich regelmäßig dort bin und habe sie auch fotografiert... nur nicht so gut :)

Danke. Den letzten hatte ich auch nicht auf der LIste. War Zufall, dass unsere Wohnung direkten Blick darauf hatte. Da musste ich dann natürlich auch ein Foto machen -> Colonia St. Jordi
