- This is the Bee Queen Guide, it shows 4.5 methods to killing the Bee Queen. Method one, bunnymen, method two, maze, method three, tentacles, and method four, lureplants.
The Bee Queen is not a hard boss, she just takes a ton of resources, she is basically impossible to kill solo without a trick up your sleeve. This guide will go over how to kill the Bee Queen without other players to help.
First, before every method, the normal bee hives and killer bee hives around the Bee Queen need to be cleared out, this makes sure no bees other then her Grumble Bees come to help.
Onto the methods, The first way to kill the Bee Queen solo is place 20-40 rabbit hutches nearby the bee queen, and spawn her in during dusk/night, then let the Bunnymen help kill her, the extra damage is needed because she has too many helpers for one person to kill on their own. This tactic relies on the Bunnymen to kill off the minions, and the player to do most of the damage to the Bee Queen herself. For gear you'll want AT LEAST; 4 bee keeper's hats (or equivalent), two dark swords, a cane, and 120 healing. The healing needs to be in something that isn't considered unclean by the bunnymen, or else they'll be killing you instead of the Bee Queen, most notably, don't bring pierogi, and be careful if insane, as bee keeper's hats don't protect you against shadow creatures. When trying to do damage to the Bee Queen, you'll be able to get 6-7 hits in usually before she runs away, or summons minions. If she summons minions, run away until the Bunnymen deal with them, and if she runs away, dodge the honey trail while running after her, as the honey slows you down a lot, making it hard to chase her. It is worth noting that the bee queen only does 60 damage a hit, and the Bee Keeper's hat reduces damage by 80%, meaning she only does 12 damage a hit, which is not much compared to other bosses, the minions are what do most of the damage, so remember to avoid them.
Method two, create an arena in which to fight her in that looks like "this", it's a sort of maze that takes advantage of Bee's pathing, as bees always look for somewhere where they don't have to fly over a wall to go through before going over the wall. This can then be used by running outside before the grumble bees do and closing the gate, causing them to fly out the other way, while the Bee Queen can be fought outside the arena, then when they get outside, reverse it, and go back inside the arena, and fight the Bee Queen in there. This method needs approximately; 6 Bee Keeper's Hats, 3-4 dark swords, a cane, and 300 healing, this method can use pierogi, so I recommend it for the healing food.
Method three, this method needs a Wickerbottom, and abuses the fact that tentacles do a ton of damage. First, make approximately 25 walls to place in a filled in 5x5 around the Bee Queen's hive, then break the walls so that they can be walked over, and stand in the middle of them, then use On Tentacles repeatedly until there is a solid wall of Tentacles along the edge of the hay walls. Then, get a bush hat or snurtle armor and begin the Bee Queen fight, and hide right away, this will make the Tentacles do the work for you, and kill her fast.
Method 3.5, this is the same as method three, but less resource intensive, just spam On Tentacles next to the Bee Queen Hive, Smash it, and run away. The Tentacles will still kill it, but it will be hard to grab the loot, and hard to start the fight. It is also dangerous for the you, because this many tentacles can stun lock you easily.
Method four, place two lureplants on opposite ends of the hive, leaving a path to run through the middle of the eyeplants. Wait for them to spawn eyeplants, gear up, and start the fight. Run in a figure eight around the eyeplants, and wait for her to spawn Grumble Bees, whenever she spawns the Grumble Bees, kite them through the eyeplants to aggro onto the lureplant instead of on you. Giving time for you to fight the Bee Queen between spawns. This needs the same amount of gear as the fence method, 6 Bee Keeper's hats, 3-4 dark swords, a cane, and 300 healing.
Don't Starve is a game about uncompromising survival, you play as one of eleven characters in Don't Starve Together and Reign of Giants, these are; Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, WX-78, Winona Wickerbottom, Woodie, Wes, Maxwell, Wigfrid, or Webber.
Using one of these characters you enter a hostile world, filled with oddities, talking pigs, giant spiders, tree monsters (Tree guards), the deerclops, giant geese, or moose.

Now you see, it only costs 30 billion dollars to fix world wide hunger, but this is an ineffective method, you don't have to feed people if they're not alive in the first place. Become the new Hitler and create the perfect race with no starving children, this is the most effective tactic.

A good tip ( in my opinion ), if you have more than 1 person and the bunnyman method you can still use pierogi by eating them straight from the ice box placed near the place you are fighting.

For the wall and tentacle setup, you only need to fill every other inner spot with a wall, as such:

I don't know if you can replicate this but there is an even cheesier strat than the wickerbottem one. If you freeze bee queen while she is empowering the grumble bees she will be frozen forever. Even hitting her won't cause her to unfreeze. This has worked in my solo world multiple times and the only mods I use are Geo and Epic Healthbars. Haven't tried this without either mod so maybe you could test it.
You could definitely replicate that, there have been a ton of bugs just like that over the years that Klei has slowly fixed. Is that even an effective strategy though? Nope, you already had to hurt her a ton to get her there, and it's a frame perfect bug.

There is also the method of glitching out to the sea by using a lureplant but I'm not sure if you are counting that as a valid strategy.
How would one do that strategy? Just hit her from the edge after glitching out?
Yes, grumble bees won't come near you so you basically just keep hitting her until she dies.
You need to be in an appropriate distance or her drops will fall in the water, if you are careful almost everything will fall in land.

@@Kunnoc As a player who finds himself alone 90%+ of the time, the bee queen is probably completely impossible for me to kill, but even when I had someone playing Wendy helping me it was pretty hard still.

She respawns after 20 days (from the moment you kill her), the fence method takes twigs/grass, I think it's ~60 of each.
Is the Royal Jelly useful?
Also, can the splumonkey farm with wickerbottom still be made in normal DS? (I'm thinking in making a new world with wicker)
I consider the bee queen to be the boss that makes all other bosses easier. The royal jelly when in a crockpot along with filler, will produce 3 jelly beans that will cause you to regenerate. Allowing you to do more fighting and less healing during boss battles. The bee queens helmit is only 70% protection but what it does do is turn insanity aura into sanity aura, making the massive sanity drop the exact opposite. This allows you to stay sane during the fight even when using a night sword. If you count the toltal amount of health healed by the jelly bean, it is the single most powerful healing item in the game.
Compared to the Bundling Wrap, her other two drops are useless. The Bundling Wrap unlocks the best food method in the game (lichen farm), and allows you to carry 4x as much stuff at the cost of grass.
It also lets you clone mole-worms easier, I completely forgot that blueprint. You can put 4 of them in a bundle wrap and it unbounds them to their home and voula, you doubled the moles at the cost of grass.

How many On Tentacle books do you need, EXACTLY???
Because my friend and I tried to kill the bee queen with 4 books, but that was not enough, because she took down 1/2 of the tentacles and then despawned. Keep in mind, the hay walls I have are 12x13....
It depends, it's 4-5 books, also, the more hay walls you make the less tentacles that spawn per book. I'd recommend using a 7x7.
The tentacles need to be very densely together, for that I would say 6-7 books.
You may also need to lure her back into the tentacles, she tends to move away then jab where only a few can hit her

Bearger isn't a boss, he's an immigrant looking for work in a new country, put him to work in the forest chopping down trees until he dies from overwork (treeguards).

Guys, does world size matters? I set my world size to small and I have been looking for DF for 20 days, still can’t find her, and pig king doesn’t seems to spawn as well, weird.....
Making the world bigger is a bad idea. It stretches the biomes instead of just adding more of them (it also adds more though), which means the resources become more sparse and key stuff like the Pig King become hard to find.
I also found this:
Default has about 10 'Sections' (seperated biomes, 2 of each common biome)
Medium has about 14 'Sections (seperated biomes, 2-3 of each common biome)
Large has about 20 'Sections' (seperated biomes, 2-4 of each common biome, 1-2 of other biomes)
Huge has about 24 'Sections' (seperated biomes, 3-4 of each common biome, 2-3 of other biomes)

One per Bee Queen kill, you can get one for every person in the server if you kill her multiple times.

they fixed it a long time ago so it is uncheeseable, bee queen is hard for me but what I do is pan flute spam and deconstruct it when at 10%

That won't kill her. First off, she had 21,600 HP, second off, raid bosses gain damage resistance vs. gunpowder after every time they're hit with it, and that would be 6 different stacks. And pigs work, but it takes an absurd amount of them, because their kiting makes their DPS low as hell.
Wow...how are people good enough to even survive any of these bosses? I normally mess up early and getting destroyed quickly. I think my longest game was like 20 days

I'm probably going to go with option #4 (meat bulbs). Seems like the simplest and most feasible for me. Just gotta be careful the loot doesn't get eaten by one of the plants. If that doesn't work, I'll try option #2. Thanks for the tips!
It is at this point that I would say I love your content, but after watching "10 MORE MISTAKES Don't Starve Players make in UNDER 4 MINUTES" and forming the opinion I have of your tone in that video, I don't think that would quite be honest. This video is completely useless. One of the hardest bosses and you open with "the bee queen is not a hard boss". Also the fence method doesnt work at all, the bees fly over it.
