  • Leaning the hard way to take a big enough step to gybe a the 150 liter JP foilboard.
Increased board control and pumping with some new techniques.
My personal opinions and thoughts about the JP 150 pro edition foilboard and NPf4 foil.

As you say at the end, you must open the sail gradualy as you turn in the gybe to the point that it is clew first when releasing/ flipping the sail. Took me a while to figure out ;-)

...and thak you for the tips for the flying gibe. I just like to add to my previous comment. I really don´t recommend the high aspect racing foil to learn on, there are much better foils for that, I underested how difficult it is and you can´t skip the first stages of your learning process as a thought possible, but once you master it the NP f4 foil is a very good foil. I did manage a flying gibe once or twice on the low aspect wing after a few seasons only and it should be possible to do it consistently after 12 quality seasions for sure, you are right.

For me it seems the NP Foil doesn't do a good job. Needs lot of speed and is flying quite unstable. For Gybing i recommend to put the back foot behind the front strap on the other side...but it's depending on the trim.... good luck... my experience with the fwind are flying gybes aber the 12th session...so the videos are very interessting how the combination of JP foil board and NP foil is working...
Have still a lot of fun ! Hang Loose and Fly High :-)

Yes the NP racing foil needs more speed to take of but in return it is faster with more sail power and better upwind. The NP glide wind in my other videor is more stable and takes of super early but very slow and once powered up and flying fast it has a tendency to come up too high and you need to open up the sail so both do a good job but they are just different.
For gybing I am working on putting the foot on the other rail, the problem is that the board is so wide NP 150 foilboard that its a big step,
