Hi Liz, great to see your beautiful plants, sorry for the one you lost ….. how adorable is Pedro and eating his potatoes for breakfast ….thanks for your video ….greeting from Virginia, USA….Tere
Korean succulents are succulents that are hybridized in Korea by Koreans. It's the same as European, Australian or American succulents that are hybridized in Europe, Australia or USA. Care for them depends on the hybrid combinations. This is the importance of knowing a plants origin or where it's native to. For example....some Echeveria are strong and some are weak. If two strong echeveria are hybridized, they will make a strong plant/hybrid. But if a plant that is prone to rot and difficult to grow gets used in hybridizing, it will also result in a plant that is a "DIVA" plant/difficult to grow. There is a lot to learn about growing succulents and each one/variety/species have very specific need. Just because a tomato grows prolifically, doesn't mean ALL Tomato variety will grow well too. It's the same case with succulents.
Hi Liz, I love your videos, they are very informative. But I can not find a video of you reviewing or recommending a Grow Light for your plants. Can you do a video recommending some grow lights please 😁 I would really appreciate and I'm sure your subscribers would too!
Hello 😃 What is that brown round thing on the surface? Decorative stone? As the weather gets colder, Japanese succulent lovers seem to be doing their best to protect themselves from the cold.
Greetings Liz! Love the videos and baby pea ;) Question; is there a way to make succulents flower indoor? Like maybe, make it hot for a month, drop the temp 20 degrees ? Wondering the formula if possible Thanks 😊
Depends on the succulent as some have a dormancy period. A lot of Succulents/plants will flower according to age and growing season. Some succulents can be tricked into flowering indoors by providing lots of light and warmth(20°C and above).
I Love How You Flex Your babies with Fat Leaves tita Liz, I'm Very Jealous because I have only 5 plants with fat leaves in My Colletion But I Love All your Babies lalo na Po si Baby P.
So happy I am able to catch up with you watching your video again 🥰 The weather is really "crazy " and also killed some of mine, but we just need to stay positive and happy continue to enjoy and take care the rest of them 😍 Love your sedum varsedense, they are so cute! I wish I will come across it in the market one day😄 Please send my regards to Wally, praying for him and you too. Have a very Blessed Merry Christmas and new year ahead❤
Hi Liz, I just started with growing succulents and your videos really helped. Can I ask for advise. I have a young 5 inches high crested graptosedum francesco baldi. It still has leaves on the stem and not just on top most but few days ago i noticed that they started to turn yellow and thinning out at the mid section. not sure what the problem is.
Graptosedum Francesco Baldi is a very strong plant and grows like a weed. Maybe the one you have is a different variety of succulent. Usually when a succulent goes yellow, it can be due to too much fertilizer or the wrong type of soil mix.
From my experience, it's mostly neglect and lack of nutrients. But there are other factors that can turn a plant variegated such as viral infection or mutation. Some variegation can also be induced chemically.
Hi po Liz, Thank you for this video, it rained hard here in Canada and it's been a week and my Echiveria Malgan and Red soul soil is still wet, I put newspaper around the soil to dry it out but still wet, should I dry it out with direct sunlight or remove soil dry it out and put it new soil? And how long or how many days can succulent soil be wet? Thanks
If left outside in open air, they can stay wet until the soil dries up naturally. I never bring in my plants. A couple of years ago, we've had rain almost everyday for a couple of months. Have a great weekend! 🥰
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK hi again Ms. Liz again. Just wondering what is the coldest the echiveria succulents can stay outside? In Ontario Canada right now is 2 degrees celcius. Should I bring them inside? Thanks

I just had my first experience with stem rot. 😢 Seeing this happens to you makes me feel a little better.
Just like people and for whatever reason, plants can also get sick and die.
Hi Liz! Can you do video on Korean succulents? What makes them Korean and how should we take care of them? Thanks
