I would have so much fun in your “treasure” garden. It would be so satisfying to clean up and find fun long lost succulents along the way. I would love it!! I’m drooling over here. 🤤😆
Hello Liz. Taking us through the forgotten area, is very interesting. Especially to see what survive's and what doesn't. But you are making headway with your outdoor plants. Even if it is only bits at a time. It's coming along, and starting to look good You will get there, you have such a massive collection, it's going to take time, but at least you are making progress.
It's a blessing that my garden is the way it is. It has helped me to get out of bed everyday. Just like what Hubby said.... You have plenty of time when I'm gone. Thanks very much for watching, Kathy and have a lovely weekend. 🥰
If it weren't for fear of getting hit with copyright, I'd be singing all the way through my videos.😊Thanks for watching, Cheryl and have a wonderful weekend!🥰
Thankyou for showing us, it’s real life. And as you say, you’ll get to it in time. Well done for everything you’ve achieved already. I know how much energy just tidying to make a path takes. It’s a treasure trove of strong plants down that side which keeps it interesting for you finding nice surprises ❤️
I will have to cull them into manageable numbers. Seeing which ones survived is a good indicators of plants I'll be keeping. Thanks for watching Chris and have a great day!🥰
Hi Liz I’m just in from my warm Sydney garden 😊cleaning and re- planting to see your video ❤I love seeing the not so beautiful side of your garden I have side and under veranda that need fixing😢😮most people do .I get what I can done when I’m well and when I’m feeling like it.❤🦘🐨
Hi Liz my God awesome video. So love all your succulents. Your garden is so beautiful even if you find your neglected ones it is still beautiful. God bless. Going watch it again.
Hi Liz, I'm loving these cleanup videos! The ice-plant at 4:01 is what I think Trichodiadema. Possibly Trichodiadema densum but I am rusty on this genus of succulents, so I may be mistaken!
Thank you so much. As I always say, it will get done when it's done. ☺️There are far more important things in life that the garden.😁Have a great weekend!🥰
I have the silk variegated too which was referred to as Prolifica 'Little Rose.' This was a gamble buy. It was up for sale for a while and nobody bought it. I thought it look different. Hopefully it doesn't revert back to it's original form. 🥰
We’re having an oddly warm late September here. Sorry to be stealing your heat, but I’m rather enjoying it myself 😅 Your garden looks so amazing no matter what state it’s in lol.
Enjoyed your "disaster" zone 😄 It's always fun to see such a large array of plant bb's. I've only kept Sempervivum outside since I'm in a 7b zone but would love to try other succulents; how cold can Francisco Baldi handle? The temp ratings online seen to round up or websites will have different suggestions on plants. Anywho, have a wonderful weekend! 💕
-11°C | 12.2°F is the coldest it has ever experienced in my care. Got through it with flying colors. Might be worth doing an experiment on a couple of plants in your area. I'd be really curious to know. Thanks for watching, Lauren and have a great day!🥰
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Wow, that's pretty low! I will definitely be experimenting and freshening up my outside space. Thanks so much!! 😊 I'll let you know 😉
😂 Sorry about that. I will continue.... Every 2 years, A lot of crassula species will die, so it's best to keep propagating them by continuously taking cuttings to grow them. 😃 Might have to do a video on crassula. 🤔Thanks for watching and have a great day!🥰
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK that would be awesome! Should do one on the different types just basics and make a folder with them all, I think that would be a hit with succulent addicts and learners 🥰🥰
WHAT would I do without you? 🤔 Thank you so much once again, Maria. You're fantastic!!! You're right. That was a hobbit. Good thing you mentioned it because my Gollum was dying of thirst. I found it and now soaking. 😁 Thank you for watching and have a wonderful weekend!🥰
Sorry to hear that, Maya. Maybe it depends on the species. I had a bunch of Red Edge 'Lipstick' dump on a cardboard sitting on concrete for almost 2 years and it continued to have babies and grow. It's now in a pot with minimal soil and still growing. May I suggest practicing with a Red Edge. They also don't like too much watering. Twice a year is good enough (soak) and only if the bottom leaves shows softness (dry indicator). Thanks for watching and have a great weekend! 🥰
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK my lipstick alive just not really thrive because the size got smaller and bunch of dry leaves. But they got really nice red color... I live in indonesia...
@@mayadwiratnafuri8163 Dry leaves mean not enough water. They need to be soaked during the dry (low humidity) and cooler months of the year. When it's hot and wet (high humidity), it should be kept dry. Hope this helps.
You need to get a proper pen and write on the plants as you remember them, as well as go over the writing that is already on the plants, but are fading. Would help you a lot.
Have now use a proper lead pencil and metal labels for them.😉 Those plastic labels when I started and permanent pens are the most useless thing ever invented. 😂 Plus the birds love them. I will eventually get around to properly labelling them again... one day.🤔
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Hi Liz, where did you find metal labels please? I have some wooden ones but they have begun to rot & those plastic ones break too easily from sitting in our Perth heat.
