My current headcanon is that both hero and villain have the same goal of total control, but the hero is like „Hey, look at me, I’m the good guy, you should do as I say because it’s good“ meanwhile the villain is just „I don’t give a fuck, just kneel“
just started the playlist and getting serious The Boys vibes. Heroes being all "look at me, im amazing" Destroying footage that shows them in a bad light or the villains doing a good deed to control the narrative etc.

Damn this is nice, but the fact that we are the board and work at the same place as the reporter, but this is so much more interesting. Love how this is like super man but a villain. Oh and how they make the villain sound so good, maybe there might be a plot twist in future episodes, maybe we might get a fight scene of the villain Nova and the Hero Comet fight or maybe the hero is plotting something evil (maybe not but it’s an idea). This series just has many possibilities for what’s gonna happen ♥️♥️♥️
im imagining future scenes of them flying around in the middle of a fight with the superhero thinking she needs to be saved that scene would be epic not gonna lie *nods head* loving it by the way can't wait for more

This was so cool!!! Really like the reversal of the "female reporter damsel" in terms of venerating the hero for this new character. (And it's a nice throwback to see another character go by "Cyn")
Makes me wonder, perhaps these two alien duo are from a planet that is trying to designate Planets under a certain "accords" to hold a Galaxy wide alliance. On this and what if Comet is the child of a madman who caused a rebellion on the planet both he and Nova are who took advantage of some people's grievances to cause a galaxy wide campaign. Wanting to change the government to one only subject to him so he can "better the lives of all of the people" and in reality hold all that influence over numerous planets for themselves. Nova, perhaps a child of one of the government leaders or part of the military is sent to Earth to just subdue any chances of hostility that can be brought by the rebellion onto Earth. Comet who has been given nothing but self-entitlement from his father and sees the government as nothing but evil has basically been able to control the narrative because Comet was doing superheroing before Nova was able to gain their bearings and now has been left in a deadlock. Not truly wishing too much harm but incapable of completing their mission without being seen as a villain. Take over the planet might be their mission but it is not exactly what Comet made it out to be. Thus leaving them a bit antisocial and just relying on their secret identity to try to build up influence to get their plan done. Even if its taken far longer than expected.
