As a major fan of potatoes myself, I'm very glad I could bring this knowledge to help save the kingdom from famine. One of the tricks to making these stories interesting is putting the listener at the mercy of the lady, while still granting him agency. This script did that well, and Cadence predictably knocked it out of the park.
I thought this was going to be a cute wholesome story. I wasn’t expecting it to turn into full on horror at the end. Like seriously this scared the crap out of me 15:08
I can see why she would be annoyed by the heels, they make for an imposing stature but maintaining balance must be killer. I recommend some thick soled boots instead. Also, I think I've demonstrated I can not ignore cats, although Cesar would probably be running the show in a similar scenario XD
Demanding the poisonous parts of the potato plant is legitimately brilliant. When they were first introduced to Spain, they came without instruction of which part to eat. After some people got sick from eating the green, they banned the crop for years

The youngest was wise,the third was earnest,the second was just and the eldest was strong. But he thought that strength is everything. One day the king got sick. On his dying bed he said that the eldest prince would not inherit the throne but instead he would share the power among all four of them so that their gifts would make the kingdom better. The eldest felt embarassed. He alone should have inherit the throne. Selfishness grew inside him spreading like poison. He declared himself a ruler and demanded obedience from his brothers. And so he cut their family bonds. The brothers armies rose against each other and the war begun. The eldest's army was powerful, but the battles raged on. The prince cursed his fate with his lust for victory. He wandered in the forest when he came to an old stone ring. Wisps showed up and led him to a lake which shore stood a small cabin. In it lived a witch. The prince asked her to make a spell that would change his fate. He wanted the strength of ten men and offered his signet ring as a reward. The witch saw a broken soul behind the pretension. So she made a spell that would either fulfill his dark wish or mend the broken family bonds. With a false ceasefire he lured his brothers to the throne room and took it over. In front of his resisting brothers he drank the magic potion. The spell took effect. His strength was increased tenfold but it was in a form of a huge black bear. The witch however gave a way to reverse the spell. If he just could mend the bonds cut by pride. The prince however stayed as a monster. He defeated his brothers and returned to lead his army, but the soldiers only saw the beast. They aremd up, but many met the bear's paw. The rest ran in terror. When the brother's armies were beaten, the kingdom fell to darkness. The prince is still wandering the kingdom siphoning power from his broken bonds, soul trapped in the scarred vessel.
