We just got a puppy a little while ago so I feel your stress about keeping her off of stuff. I've seen at TJ Maxx where they have cute accordian folding gates that dont have to attach to walls and can be moved. I think youd like them.
The new house is so beautiful! Cant wait to see the finished decorated home tour! You both have such great taste in decor!

IKEA sells one with a lift up mirror that would fit there and has about 5/6 drawers instead of stacking nightstands
Baby gates work well to keep Luma in areas that you want, then you can use them for your kids too. They have long baby gates and smaller ones for different hallways and openings.
You guys should go by the container store and check out their custom closet system. It might be more than Ikea but they have a better selection and more options so that it would fit your closet perfectly.
The good news is that because you’ll be in this house for awhile, if the IKEA closet never ends up growing on you, you can always use the pieces you bought in another closet or space in the house, or maybe even somewhere at the Luca & Grae office and then upgrade to a custom closet when you’re ready.

If u wanted to use the space above the new drawers u could use a small tension rod to make more hanging space for shirts above it
Instead of the white malm nightstand, you could've got the white malm dresser with the mirror. But idk if it would fit. And you guys already bought it. So yeah. 💛💛💛💛
On your closet, I think you should get two of the drawer units like the center one that you have, take back the shelves and just build some shelves in that use up whatever space is left.

It helps if you get an indoor pen! It allows the puppy to have room to play but still be contained, lol

Just a suggestion:
Above the small dressers, you could install a rod above then hang those cloth kind of cubby holes so you could put the shoes there instead, and put bags where shoes are 😝

Folding clothes the Kon Marie way from magical art of tidying up is totally the way to go! Parker’s stuff would probable fit much better and you can see it. We have all our drawers that way now and love it
you should of gotten the alex 7 drawer set! not sure if that area was wide enough though.. but its looking great!

You should try one of those playpen gates for dogs! It gives her as much room as you want and you know where she is at all times!
You guys should buy a puppy play pen. It's not the same as a crate and you can put her in it while you do things and she can still run around. My frenchie has had his since he was a pup
