Dear yestheory, i dont use many social media because i don’t like the way it is used. You guys show me that social media can also be used in a positive way, to create a community in which people can be themselves rather than trying to be what other people want them to be. Thank you for doing this. You guys were a big help for me since i was not sure on how to live and what to do in my life, i could not find meaning and felt nothing. Today i try to make the world a better place by giving positivity to others and to look beyond the discomfort and fears that current society brings with it. I try to live my life the way that i will not regret a moment of it. Posting this online for everyone to see is also a hard thing for me to do, i hope everyone can respect me and have a nice day.

I tried to seek discomfort yesterday when I picked up a hitchhiker for the first time! He was French and I was stuck in the car with him for around 1 and a half hour. It was quite awkward at times since he spoke very little English and I barely speak any French but we made it to the end! It was huge for me since I get really nervous around strangers and the thought of having a stranger in the car for such a long time is quite uncomfortable. I'm really trying to live by the Yes theory one step at a time and I thank you for the inspiration :D Greetings from Iceland

I feel like you feel, so I posted videos about me going camping. Besides wanting to share the adventure and experience, I do it in the hopes that I can learn to be more comfortable with myself. Maybe you can try posting videos about the things you like doing. You might be surprised how much you learn about yourself that way.

What an wonderfull jump, i personally find that to love someone, you first have to love yourself. And to love yourself is a hard thing to do, but remember even the villains in the story of the world have an plave and an fuction to be where they are. Every human has a place in this world, wether this is by showing us the faults in our society or fixing the faults. There is no perfect human not in the past, not in the present and not even in the future. For weas humans need different views on different problems and situations, so by being that what you want to be, you are giving the world your opinion and your thoughts. That one day might change the world. Be you, do you and most importantly seek the discomfort of yourself and of others. We only learn from the mistskes that we have made.

this entire concept is so much more important than I thought at first, at first glance you see just killing yourself for a few minutes, but when you look deeper it's much more. You're moving your body and starting a movement within yourself. Your jump is more important than you could imagine even if it's as simple as waking up earlier. It's never too late to take your jump, so even if you couldn't participate this week, still trust yourself to make that leap. so thankful to be included in this video and a part of such an amazing movement, remember: seek discomfort and make your leap.

Wow... I can't even begin to describe how it feels to take part in something of such magnitude. I've been following YesTheory for some time now, but running a mile and sending in a video of my jump was the first time I actively participated in the community. I never thought my clip would make it into the video.
I'm simultaneously terrified and thrilled at the prospect of someone who knows me seeing this video and recognizing me. Which confirms to me that it's a jump I needed to make.

Really wanted to make a running video but as the thoughts cloud my head with self hatred and saying that I’m not good enough or that what I say won’t matter because I’ve been turn down a lot in my life and for me my jump would be to love myself and be more confident to talk to people and not care what they think about me because in my mind I’m stuck in a metal box with no hope to moving forward to expand my thoughts and emotions and the only thing stopping me is myself, I just wanted to say even if this doesn’t get read or seen by anybody this is my stepping stone, for me this took a lot of courage to type this
You said it yourself, you are the only thing holding you back. All you have to do is do it, dont even think about it, just do it. Once you start, you'll keep going.
Believe in yourself man that’s all you gotta do. Step outside your comfort zone and push yourself and you realize people don’t judge you anywhere near as much as you thought they did, people are too busy caught up in their own insecurities and fears. If we all lived truly and freely in the moment what a beautiful world it would be. :)

Never clicked so fast on a video to see if we all did it. I'm not mad I didn't make it as it is the fact that I ran my mile and set a goal for to foreseeable future.
